Stayed here for the night, good food dinner and breakfast, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water what not to like. would recommend.

I stayed overnight at this dog-friendly pub with a country vibe. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and the staff greeted me warmly upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious, with the eggs royale being a pleasant alternative to the standard fare. Although dinner was a bit pricey, I noticed there were cheaper options on the menu. The food quality was excellent and well worth the stay. 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed here overnight between south Devon and home. Room was very well equipped , the media tower would have been a godsend for the business visitor. Beautifully fitted bathroom and we had everything we needed in the room. Really nice atmosphere down in the bar for pre dinner drinks, nice busy buzz. Dinner was very tasty and service was excellent, we had a great evening. Good nights sleep, although mattress a little soft for us, personal preference though. I stayed overnight at this restaurant. The parking was convenient, the welcome was friendly, the room was well equipped, and the bathroom was nice. The evening meal was good. However, the breakfast was disappointing. The buffet section seemed disorganized and some items listed were missing. The cooked breakfast did not meet the same standard as the previous evening meal in terms of quality, preparation, or presentation. This was a letdown for us and affected our overall experience. It may be worth reviewing and improving to match the restaurant's positive aspects.

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and were greeted by very friendly staff who seated us at a nice table by the window. The ambiance was pleasant and we received excellent service. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Scrambled Egg with smoked Salmon on Toast, both of which were delicious. The Fish and Chips were perfectly crispy and light, and the scrambled eggs were soft and flavorful. For dessert, we enjoyed a Chocolate Brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, which was also delightful. As a bonus, I had a coffee with a small piece of Brownie, which was a great combination. The prices were reasonable as well. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

During our weekend break in November 2023, we encountered some minor issues upon checking in to our first room at the restaurant. Despite a filthy shower screen and a broken window that wouldn't shut, the staff promptly addressed these issues and we were moved to a new room. We also had to request a mattress protector for the new room. The cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved. However, we found the bar to be nice, the food to be very good, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the roast dinner on Sunday, which was delicious and generous in portion size. The breakfast selection was good as well.
