tourist lunch for the family. very nice interior with beautiful view of the city center. seabass filet with noddles and truffles: simply delicious.

I totally reccomend this place, we ordered Parma and rucola pizza and Spaghetti carbonara and all taste great ! Quick and nice service and nice interior.

they really do a hard job and it pays off. the decoration, eating and service is very good. and the price is the same as any other itslian restaurant in the region.

We ate at this excellent restaurant twice during our stay of one week in Meissen, we weren't expecting to find an Italian restaurant of this calibre here, the reviews we'd read were correct. The food is outstanding and the service efficient.

restaurant was quite busy, but they found me another table, ordered a Vitello tonato as starter and a pizza tonno as main. Eating was in order. a beautiful glass beer. I would be back, not sure that the service was missing a...bit, and the food didn't let me jump from joy. I guess I'd give some other restaurants.

I went there for lunch, the place is run by a nice italian lady. We had the first good prosecco I tried in Saxony, and the wine of the house, that was very good. We had some pasta and lasagna, all very good, plus coffee...and dessert, around 35 euros, it totally worth it. When I return to Meißen, I'll be there for sure.

We stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a bite to eat. Having lived in Italy, we've had our share of good Italian food and are always a little hesitant when it comes to Italian restaurants. We ordered regular lasagna and spinach cannelloni. Both dishes were...delicious with a wonderful tomato sauce. We expect this restaurant to become our favorite Italian restaurant outside of Italy. We were fortunate to find a place on the terrace, but reserving a table might be wise.

First, we were pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality. On our way back from Italy, frankly speaking, we were not expecting Italian food at this pizzereia in Saxony to be much better than some ristorantes in Como. We all had to share and taste...what everyone ordered just to make sure there is nothing wrong with us to get so impressed. Service was also excellent and there was a small playroom for kids who got bored among adults. Then, we were impressed again by the story told by the owner of the hotel we stayed at. When Pizzeria Amalfi received a warning of flood in June, they kept calmly serving customers until the last one finished, and then, evacuated everything to a safe place. Ama...

they can ask: why did they choose Italian restaurant in meissen? the answer is very simple: it was Monday when most restaurants in Germany are closed, we hungered and the restaurant is strongly recommended in the internet. the only positive is the...service ; waiter were very polite and helpful, although they do not speak English (no English menu as well as so google translator is very helpful in some cases.) we have ordered the simplest dishes ever a pizza with thunfisch and cannelloni with ricotta and spinat. pizza covered with tones of bad quality of mozarella-like-cheese (believe me- I know what I say I lived and worked in italy and I like to eat) and cannelloni...thanks among the gallon...
