"Purtroppo non abbiamo studiato la carta del ristorante prima di sederci, e questo é stato un grande errore. Dopo aver preso posto abbiamo dato un occhiata nella carta del ristorante. É una carta enorme, alla quale é impossibile produrre piatti freschi. Sappiamo di che parliamo, perché c’era una persona che conosce benissimo il mestiere. E cosí é stato. I crostini erano immangiabili. Sia il pane che il condimento insufficienti. I tortellini di ricotta erano tutt‘altro che freschi. Erano tortellini prodotti industrialmente, si vedeva dalla forma. La ricotta invece d‘essere morbida, era una massa dura e compatta. Penso che siano stati dei tortellini che erano in congelatore. Mi dispiace dare una recessione cosí negativa e ci ho pensato anche a lungo. Suggerisco al gestore di presentare una carta più piccola per poi presentare prodotti fatti freschi. In altre parole, qualità e non quantità!"

Molto buono.un tagliere misto di affettati,crostini e formaggio perfetto per 2 persone,un primo(pici al cinghiale)per me abbondante e saporito,una tagliata forse appena appena cotta troppo rispetto al classico al sangue ma comunque morbidissima e saporita. Pizza,ai porcini,ognuno ha i suoi gusti,a me è piaciuta. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Alloggiando a Prata, non potevamo non organizzarci per una serata in questo locale di paese. Una piacevole sorpresa. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza, particolare rispetto allo standard ma squisita e digerita benissimo. Buon vino della casa, Morellino di Scansano. Personale davvero molto cortese e di compagnia Anche la cucina ci ha fatto voglia e sarebbe da provare. Lo consigliamo vivamente Service: Dine in View menu

Accoglienza degna di nota, personale cortese e gentile. Sebbene fosse pieno, siamo stati serviti velocemente. Porzioni abbondanti e cibo casereccio e gustoso (la schiacciatina che viene servita assieme al pane è assolutamente deliziosa! . Ho dei problemi alimentari, e la signora Loretta si è assicurata meticolosamente che tutto ciò che avevo ordinato fosse adatto alla mia alimentazione. Se si passa da Prata bisogna assolutamente fare tappa qui!

Non posso che confermare le ottime recensioni che avevamo letto su questo ristorante pizzeria. Si va dal menù di terra a quello di mare. In quattro abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi ed abbondanti piatti: pici al ragù, antipasti di mare caldo, insalata di mare, grigliata di pesce e frittura di pesce. Sembrava quasi un ristorante dove era obbligatorio recarsi cisto la distanza degli altri, ma in realtà è stato un ottimo regalo. Grazie! Meal type: Dinner

"it was our last night in the amazing little town massa marittima, so we decided to go for a really nice dinner. we arrived at the restaurant and sat by a German lady who recognized from the beginning was very pushy....She always asked us if we were ready to order food, but we had not even seen the menu. when it was our last night, we were thrown out on a Euro bottle. the menu is only in Italian, so I asked them to arrange the ingredients on some just to a cliped description that was not clear. at the end I had no idea what I order her is a vendor of notiz so immediately dips into a saleplace for the most expensive starter. when we told her we would share bruschetta (as we had a snack with a drink at a local wine barely before), she pressed us into the order bruschetta dishes for each of us) that we did not really need. in any case the starter came and it was good. next was the pasta court that we ordered when we knew she would give us the big one! my hubby ordered a spaghetti court for the euro, but it was said that it was a sharing court and that he would rather have the court that was a little different did not make any sense at all, but because we thought he was going with her suggestion. I also changed what I wanted because she pushed me to another court with a higher price. when it was our last night, we didn't want to fight, so it just went with me. on the positive side I must say that eating was delicious wein superb, but the service really taken away from the meal. the pressure was for pudding, but until then we have told her we had enough on more wise than one..she is an absolute handful and I do not appreciate lying about a meal that is for the exchange if the menu does not indicate that at all. in any case eating is great, service not so much."

"There is nothing on the outside of this fantastic restaurant, located in a very small village in the countryside, that will prepare you for what awaits you inside, and that is apart from the delicious food. This restaurant was beautifully and stylishly appointed, with brick/tiled floors, white walls, gold and black light fittings, gold armchairs with black upholstery, Romanesque looking gold and black planter stands, large round tables with linen tablecloths and small vases of fresh flowers, and black, white and gold crockery that was specifically designed and made for the restaurant. It was stunning. There appeared to be three separate dining rooms and we were seated in the one in the middle with a great view of the kitchen through a large glass window. The maître d' was Luca, brother to Francesco the Chef, and Luca was ably assisted by Alicia who spoke very good English. We chose the tasting menu (Euro160 per head) which consisted of an amuse bouche, 3 starters, 6 dishes including dessert and a superb selection of petit fours with coffee. There were also 4 different types of house made bread as well as gluten free bread. The tasting menu included a type of soup with cappuccino and onion foam, a terrine of tomatoes with prawn tartare and passion fruits, Chianina tongue with a warm parmigiana cheese sauce and jelly chicken stock, gnocchi made with nettles together with a fois gras pudding and grape juice, pigeon with carrots and chocolate sauce together with a terrine of the pigeon livers with a tartare of pigeon fillet and risotto with mushrooms. The dessert was wild berries with gelato. Every single dish looked and tasted delicious. The petit fours came in a 3 tier cake stand with 2x9 different tasty morsels. Wine list was extensive. we took Luca's suggestion and had a bottle of the restaurant's own cabernet sauvignon which we thought was excellent. Service was impeccable. Luca and Alicia were friendly, attentive and informative. We were lucky enough to be able to thank Francesco before we left for cooking such a superb meal and were given a beautifully coloured container of their own olive oil a great momento of a wonderful lunch. We will definitely return when next in Tuscany."
