Pizzeria Trattoria Rustica

Wir hatten keine so großen Erwartungen, aber wenn Carbonara direkt nach aus dem Mikrowellen Herd kommt und das Fleisch im Salat alles andere als frisch schmeckt, dann hört der Spaß auf.

Aufgrund der Nähe zu unserem Wohnort haben wir bereits öfter in der Trattoria Rustica bestellt und immer leckere, eher dünnere Pizza bekommen. Einmal wurden wir vergessen - ansonsten war die Pizza innerhalb kürzester Zeit da.

Die Einrichtung ist recht einfach, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für Stuttgarter Verhältnisse sehr gut - d.h. günstig und recht lecker. Scheint angestammtes lokales Publikum zu haben. Leider kein Platz zum Draußen-Sitzen, dafür standen Fenster offen - sehr angenehm & gemütlich ☺!

We came for dinner and discovered that we could ask white pizzas and calzones at reasonable price. That is not often that white pizzas are presented!And we enjoyed the food, Weiss bier and the relaxing ambiance. Visibly local people use to come and we understand them as the spirit is pleasant and relaxing.

Wir kommen regelmäßig in die Rustica. Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta., hier findet jeder immer etwas. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung.Bis auf Fleisch (Carne) habe ich bisher von jeder Kategorie etwas probiert und wurde bisher nicht enttäuscht.Der Service ist im Familienbetrieb und alle sind sehr nett, wenn es etwas voller ist sollte man Geduld und Zeit mitbringen, ab und an kann es ein bisschen dauern, italienische Gelassenheit eben :) View menu

We had eaten here on one occasion and it was a wonderful experience, with good food and a friendly staff (June 2016). Fast forward to April 2017... we called to ask for a reservation and the moment we mentioned two babies, we were promptly told "Non abbiamo spazio, arrivederci (we have no space, goodbye)", and hung up on. We went here later in the evening anyway, on the off chance we misunderstood the man we spoke with. When we showed up, 1) there were empty tables and 2) we were welcomed and oriented to an area of the restaurant.... UNTIL we mentioned 2 children. We were told there was no availability and asked to leave. It's a shame that we ever recommended this place to friends.

Italian staff and chef, from Naples, and you can taste it in the plates. We came at lunch and we liked it so much that we came back at dinner. At lunch we had seppia alla griglia (grilled squid) and penne al gorgonzola con spinaci e gamberetti (penne pasta with gorgonzola, shrimp and spinach sauce), which were both to die for. In the evening we had milanese rice and a caprese salad and those were not as good as the lunch, but we also ordered desserts and they were GOOD!!! Wir gehen sehr gerne zum Essen hier her, an den Wochenend-Tagen sollte man aber unbedingt reservieren. Parken ums Gebäude ist eher schlecht, da sich die Trattoria inmitten der schönen Altstadt von Bad Cannstatt befindet. Aber man gut im Parkhaus am Mühlgrün parken oder mit der Bahn zum Wilhelmsplatz fahren und dann von beiden Richtungen in ca. 10 Minuten zur Trattoria laufen. Auch das lohnt sich.Das Essen ist immer sehr gut, sowohl die Nudelgerichte als auch die Pizzen sind wärmstens zu empfehlen. Der Service ist top freundlich und hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich nur, weil mir persönlich der Gastraum mit der hohen Decke und den Plastikblumen etwas zu karg ist. We... View menu
