Always a pleasant experience here at planet coffee the coffee and cake are the best the staff are helpful and friendly

my favorite coffee. I live now in some, but planet coffee is one of the places of many who brings me back to hell for a day trip.

Favourite coffee shop in Hull for 3 years running! We rarely go anywhere else as the service is always lovely and the drinks and food are very good value for money as well as being amazing quality. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Food was dry, service was terrible- staff rude, no greetings upon approach to the cafe (no staff member smiles in that place). The coffee shop/ eatery opposite barista are a lot more friendly, welcoming and food quality is miles better, as is the artisan.

We had afternoon tea yest from Planet Coffee! It was amazing and absolutely couldn’t fault it! As always, the quality of food was perfect and so was the presentation. In addition to this we feel value for money is better than anywhere else we’ve had or seen afternoon tea!

I’ve been coming here since I was little as my mum use to bring me as a treat for cake and a coke float, I visited last week, the staff are all lovely and even with strict guidelines makes you feel welcome, the coffee tastes wonderful and the cakes are to die for, keep up the good work especially with your cleanliness, you put other establishments to shame

I can honestly say that the coffee was exceptional, best on the Planet! Cake was divine with little extras on the side, jelly babies and a flake of chocolate. I was really happy. The ambiance of the place was relaxing. Pleasant staff. What more do you want. A delightful experience. I had coffees in York and Scarborough in the same week of my holidays and none compared with Planet Coffee. I will be back.

We’ve not visited for a while with all the restrictions but since the re openings decided to pay a visit. Had our usual Mocha’s and lovely cake. Was so nice to see the owners, cheerful and welcoming as always! Completely Covid safe. Track trace done properly! Distanced making sure everyone wearing Masks. Complete opposite to anywhere else we have been! This is how it should be done maybe things would slow down stop spreading! Love the new painting on the front. Something nostalgic for us on Newland but this place feels like home. Roll on one month because we will be back as regulars!! Stuff anywhere else until they get their act together!!

Popped by for a drink and was asked to wear a mask whilst entering and whilst traversing the cafe. Seating arrangements had clearly been well thought of to minimise the need for screens. Everyone was greeted upon entry and updated on how service had changed a little. Everywhere a customer sat was cleaned down immediately after they had left, ready and safe for the next customer. It really does seem to have been meticulously thought through. I’ve been to a few places since they’ve been able to open and this is by far the most hygienic and comfortable place I’ve been to.
