"Our table was nicely separated from other diners and the overall atmosphere of the pub was warm and friendly. For our main course, we ordered liver, steaks, and a Thai curry, along with Narrow Gauge beer and various wines. We did not have starters or dessert. Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and were particularly impressed by the exceptional value for money. We appreciated the high standards of hospitality and service set by the managers and staff during these exceptional times, and we voted the Plume of Feathers as the best pub of our holiday. Thank you, guys!"

Delicious pub food served in a classic atmosphere. The portions are very generous. My dad loved the Steak and Ale pie, and I had the 5 bean chilli. The kitchen was happy to substitute rice with a small jacket potato for me, which had a delightful rich tomato taste. The chilli didn't have much spice, but I didn't mind at all! View menu

Great welcome, good choice of real ale and other drinks, a real English country pub. Fantastic lunchtime meal with service to match, good food, well presented just what we hoped for in the midst of a walk along the nearby Grand Union Canal. Well worth stopping here and will certainly eat here again when we are back in the area.

We had a lovely meal here. The homemade cottage pie was amazing and huge with plenty of cheese on the top and a good selection of fresh vegetables, I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend had the steak and ale pie full of meat and very tasty with lashings of gravy and mash. Extremely reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere and we both thoroughly recommend a visit. Family and dog friendly.

The staff and regulars at this restaurant are very friendly. They have a great variety of drinks to choose from and their menu offers delicious food at affordable prices. The service was excellent and we were very pleased with our overall experience. We definitely plan on returning in the future, especially since the restaurant is conveniently located near the GU canal and is easy to walk to. View menu

Well this is definitely the best place to have a meal in the area. I should know because I ate out every night for 6 months and this was my favorite location by far! The team are so friendly and make you feel so welcome! The food is superb and freshly cooked. Just came back after being away from the area since January! Has it changed with Covid! Not a chance still, the friendly welcome by the fabulous team! Thank you so much!!!

The food was ok, it came out a fryer. If you don’t want to spend your money this is the place for you. The “chef” refused us puddings because they had one table of 13 in that had already had their mains. They had no starters, there were an abundance of teens up and down the stairs drinking shots and we were given our bill without even finishing our mains. No drinks were offered, no extras. We had to walk to another pub for a hot drink and pudding. Not sure how they make any money if they can’t manage 2 tables.
