"My husband and I have visited this restaurant many times over the last few years. We have been proud to take friends and relations out for a special evening at this unusual restaurant in Leogang. It is in a lovely setting up a winding hill and on the approach you are met by a lovely candle lit area just before the entrance. We have had many lovely meals here in the past, However our experience this time was far from acceptable. We were in a large group of family and friends and the service was far from good. Most of the group ordered meals in advance but a handful of people chose the a la carte menu. Even though a small amount of people chose to do this the waiter forgot to to take the order from one of our group leaving this person waiting for a meal to be cooked whilst all the others were already eating. A waiter who was rushing around knocked over a full glass of wine over my husband and the glass smashed on the floor. We were not offered a replacement glass of wine even though the waiter was at fault. My husband had to ask for this to be replaced. Admittedly we were were given a complimentary bottle of wine to compensate us but only after we asked. Too little too late. As there were two sittings that evening, we felt rushed to eat our meal before the next set of guests arrived. The waiter admitted they were under pressure to get ready for the next group of people. The meal itself was a very mediocre salad starter of lettuce, peppers and a very limited amount of tomatoes, along with some garlic bread. Our main course was fillet steak with potatoes and no other vegetable options were offered. However the steak was delicious. The bill for two people was €100 including one bottle of wine. This restaurant has really changed it's ethos from what was an exclusive and special eating eating experience and seems to be all about getting the crowds in and to make as much money as they can in the shortest amount of time. We will not be visiting again any time soon sadly!"

Very nice experience, beautiful interior, friendly staff, good wines, delicious food, super desserts. “The cottage” is a special dish, what you need to try.

The first place in Leogang is well deserved. The food is delicious. The ambiente is very nice, rustical, without being kitschy. I have to say that the quality-ambiente-service-price ratio is remarkable. Better reserve in advance.

I was amazed by this place! I came here with my family to eat some ribs and the iron hat (bbq) (don't remember how they call it) but is very famous for this dish! After some skiing, this place is a MUST! you will not regret coming here! View menu

It is a beautifully decorated restaurant with many great dishes. I am gluten-free and vegan and they had gluten-free bread and I had an amazing risotto as the main. I loved the ambience and the staff was very friendly. Fully recommend this property.

My husband and I visited this restaurant with a group of friends. Most of us had the Rippen which come with salad and potatoes as well as 4 different sauces. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! This was out 3rd time there and we would go again!

This is a little gem in Leogang. We ordered the 'Hut essen', a cone shaped bbq where you fry your meat on at your own table. This is a lot of fun and the meat is so tender and very tasty. We got stuck with our car in the snow on the way up the hill to the restaurant. When we called, the owner/manager? came and helped us to get our car free so we could drive to a parking lot. Then she drove us in her car up the hill to the restaurant. Thanks again for the help and the lovely diner experience. We will definately come back! View menu

It doesn't matter if we're in the summer or winter in Tirol, we have to go for our special dinner to priesteregg. Being there once you need to go back. A very stylish refurbished old barn (almost) on top of a hill with fabulous food and serving, it is really awesome. Don't take a starter, the garlic bread and the large bowl of salad will do the trick. The meat is very tender and will be remembered. As an alternative go for the "hutte", you hang your meat to cook.I shouldn't tell you too much cause this will mean you go there and take my place but if you do, enjoy

On my second night in Leogang, a group of friends organised dinner at Priesteregg. We called to add seats to the reservation, which they were happy to do. I was told it was a ribs place, and a pre-order had to be made if you wanted these ribs. We did so, and it was the best decision ever. The ribs were juicy and delicious, and came with a cranberry sauce. It was ACE! Everyone who had the ribs were raving about them. The quatity they served was very generous and a great price for about 16 Euros per serve. We also enjoyed the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. The place is beautifully set out - very alpine-esque, warm and inviting. I can imagine how beautiful it would be in Winter. The bathrooms are p...

Zumal man direkt beim Lift nie günstig isst.
