"this restaurant is located in fore street, heavitree, exeter, so it is not in the center of the city. it is an Italian restaurant and pizzaria that has been open for many years. the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable for the food and service. they can park in the regular on the road, but there is a small parking close to it. it is disabled friendly, although the tables are very close together. the personal is very helpful. there is a series of pasta dishes, many calf dishes, huh and meat. the filletto di maiale al rosmarino, which is delicate rosmarin, is a special favorite of me. they make steaks too. they also have a very nice fish menu. all main dishes are served with potatoes and vegetables or spaghetti napoletana. open in the evenings on Saturdays and lunchtime on Fridays (closed on Sundays)."

best carbonara in the city, hands down. not in the center, but charming, not so less. great atmosphere supported by its capo.

We were planning to go for a curry but the half empty curry place up the road was not taking customers. How times have changed. So we tried the Q V and the staff made us welcome and we had a delicious meal and wine.

Lovely food, cosy atmosphere, heavenly desserts, and the wine... Absolutely gorgeous. Alex, the waiter knows how to present the menu, and Chef Oliver puts lots of love in every single dish. The most authentic Italian restaurant in the area. Highly recommend.

Great evening spent here on New Year’s Eve, delicious and authentic Italian food, friendly atmosphere and excellent value for money. Host Isabella and chef Oliver were really welcoming and we look forward to coming back again soon for another slice of the gorgeous tiramisu x

We went here as a large group for my 50th, friendly welcome and service and great food with a varied menu and I believe everyone was happy with their meals. They even brought out a birthday cake that was supplied and joined in. The only critism was that we were never offered desert or coffee etc. Maybe they had had enough of us by then

Cannot recommend Quo Vadis highly enough. The food is incredible and delicious with a huge range of options. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. But the best part is the staff. Especially Oliver who is so friendly and entertaining and happy to sit with you and have a drink and chat, and often lets us sample his home-made drinks and treats. I have been 5 times in 6 months and every time has been 5/5. The best italian restaurant I've been to in the UK. Cannot recommend it more highly!

Came here with some family members for a birthday meal recently. The chef was very passionate about the food and gave us a detailed description of the specials board and the origins of each dish which was a great extra touch. We unfortunately had an awkward customer with us on the night but the staff and chef were very patient and handled it very well even offering to cook something specific that wasn't on the menu to accommodate them. The food itself was superb and is definitely worth a visit. Thanks for your patience with us on the night.

we have married and then had a meal with 40 of our friends and family in quo vadis. we are so grateful to them that we make a great part of our high-time search a joy. the food was delicious, the courses were numerous, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and simply perfect. we had several small children walking around, and several unexpected nutritional needs, but everything was easily and accentuated with smiles. we had already eaten in vadis at normal nights and had always enjoyed eating and the friendly, cozy atmosphere. And then they went beyond our expectations and gave us our perfect, family-friendly, delicious, easy-going, huge, beautifully presented high-time meal. many thanks qu...
