admit: not the best Indian food I've ever eaten, for that the delivery service was super fast, eating still hot and the man on the phone really nice. In addition, there was a free mango leti that I found great.

Yesterday after 3 x disappointment in the railway road ordered yesterday in the Eimsbütteler. HERVORAGE! Everything on the spot sharply seasoned, chicken meat quality and quantity top! The Mango-Lassie and Shake taste superb!

Solid Indian. Not as good as the best Indian in the city, but very tasty and highly recommended both in terms of quantity, quality and price performance. Why? The food is tasteless and has nothing to do with Indians, no spices, no herbs, no ginger etc. The food is inconspicuous, not even the rice edible. The food intolerances are not taken into account despite the express request. Food doesn't come as ordered, but how it fits the cook. Telephone with the store: superunfriendly. Asked for a refund of the food price as the food had to land in the garbage. That was NOT done. So, do not make the same mistake as I, I have no good alternative where you can order Indians, but then I would rather eat pizza the next time instead of eating so much.

Not Taj Mahal, but Raj Mahal, is this small Indian restaurant, on the not so busy back part of the Eimsbütteler Chaussee . I was here with a friend of Essen and remembered our common India holiday. The restaurant is actually quite lovingly furnished. Very cozy in warm red and orange tones and with Indian carved plates. Prices are fairly low. The lunch table is particularly convenient, changing dishes only cost 5,50 € between 12 and 15:00. The food is not excellent, but the price is correct. I've been ordering here since approx. 3 years, that is, even at the time when the Raj Mahal was still delivered by the gardener road. The best Indian delivery service from my point of view with a very fair price-performance ratio. The main courts are between 9,50 and 13,90 EUR. My personal favorites are the Dahl Soup (Linsensuppe), the Chicken Pakoras, the Chicken Tikka, Chicken Makahni and Chicken Tikka Masala. The three last dishes are baked in tandoor ovens.
