"the second flight was in a strange village. ravenscar, the city that was never. Around the 19th-20th century were made plans to transform the village into a holiday resort. the roads were built, some houses were built and canalizations were laid. ravenscar never reached popularity and the development was unfinished mainly due to the long walk to reach the rocky beach. the railway was also closed in 1965, so now the place is a little left near the old railway station, apart from a small tee room. this place was totally old-fashioned, plastic tablecloths on table old frames on the wall, it was also miles away from everything. but guess what? it was full. we had to wait to get a table, as this place is a pitstop for hiking and cycling enthusiasts, which along the old railway. I loved this place, it was old school, people who worked there were all nice and authentic, so a massive difference with some of the pretentious afternoons in london. I had a Victorian sponge cake"
