I loved this place, it was old school, people who worked there were all nice and authentic, so a massive difference with some of the pretentious afternoons in london. I had a Victorian sponge cake"

Really good home made food. Indoor and outdoor seating area. Great refreshment point if walking or cycling on the cinder track or coastal path between Scarborough and Whitby

friendly staff and good food. we were too late for breakfast as they stopped to serve 1 o'clock, but still a good selection of cakes and light lunches available. I had suppe and a yorkshire pasty. both very delicious

before the opening of the tee room the doors were warmly welcomed. we had only tee and coffee, but the two women who served us were friendly and polite and we were given instructions to a small beach that we would not have found otherwise. really nice tea room, very clean and cheap. View menu

can't flaw this tee room. good selection to choose out and generous portions at a reasonable price. the personal was friendly and went over and over to help us (then again for the teessacks.) my sohn also received a very generous bag of goodies for the solution of the easterweg. we will definitely return.
