"Snacks, fondue, omelettes, chips, croûtes au fromage pretty good choice of mountain food in this restaurant near Emosson Damm, with seats outside and in the large dining room, decorated with old skis, farm installations and so on. The service was relatively fast, even if the place was filled. I appreciated the fact that most articles on the menu came in large XL and small S sizes my S size Emosson Croûte, with wine soaked bread, ham, cheese, tomatoes and topped with onions was huge, I couldn't finish it. I saw the XL size that was enormous. Including drinks, our meal for 5 not even cost 90 francs, amazing value."

It is a great location to see the lake. The staff are great helpful. My hot chocolate was nice and good price €3.45 But they just heat milk and give you a satchel of suchard powder chocolate. I was expecting to get home made chocolate with a minimum of making service doing hot chocolate in pan or what so ever. Anyhow I enjoyed the view. And...my hot drink. The location is very convenient. Recommended to have drinks may be not hot chocolate but something else.

Nice food, great service, stunning location. The menu was standard Swiss ‘Pub grub’, but great for it. We had steak in peppercorn sauce very delicate and juicy, spaghetti Bolognaise, salads, omelet and drinks for a family of five. We had only a terrible experience with a defiant employee on the Minifunic at the summit, so it was a welcome and quiet oasis. We had a mountain panorama from our table. Food was expensive according to British standards, but average for Switzerland. View menu

I visited here as part of a large group of about 50 cyclists, which included a few vegetarians. The food was served quickly and was good quality. It was a set menu that included three nice courses. The bar service was very good as well with good quality drinks. The views from here were brilliant despite the weather being very bad. They allowed us to use the bunkhouse showers as well which was very kind of them and helped a lot of the cyclists avoid suffering from the cold and wet they'd experienced on the way up the climb.

We arrived here after a great (and sometimes terrifying trip by several trains. The restaurant has stunning views on the Mont Blanc and several other mountains. We can really advice you to sit outside on a sunny day. The views from the inside are stunning too. The people who served us were polite. We ate lunch over here before our long mountain trip and ordered a mixed salad (very good! , pasta bolognese (very good with bread and a great side salad! , omelet and french fries. The food was really good. We didn’t expect that in a place where normally tourists are.
