Bad customer service. Good food but small portion. Very good wines!

We met four friends here for dinner. The Emilio restaurant already enjoys a very good reputation, which I can hereby confirm. We will certainly be your guests again in the not too distant future. View menu

By far the best “Mistkratzerli” (poussins) in Switzerland. A really excellent Spanish restaurant. I recommend buttered noodles and spinach as a side dish. It was my grandfather’s favorite restaurant. No surprise with this standard.

Unerreicht die braune Salzkruste der Mistkratzerli! Der Jambon unvergleichlich! Die Pommes Frites perfekt. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung!

The best chicken and sides in town! Very attentive staff and an extremely friendly manager. All around a clear recommendation. A few people criticize the pricing, but here the food is prepared with a lot of love and you get enough of everything. View menu

Spanish restaurant whose specialty is their chicken served table side. One of the most welcome reception ever in a restaurant. You are greeted by a handshake and brought to your table in one of the three rooms. Ambiance is a bit more classic, service excellent, food delicious. We had the tomato Gazpacho, beef broth with egg, of course the chicken, Spanish rice and spinach -All highly recommended. Well seasoned, delicious and not heavy filling . Easily reached with tram, they have parking next to the house if you come by car. Probably call in advance to see if they are free. We will return again.

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."
