"the plus points are: - a chance to taste the local food - cozy interieur or in warmer times the spacious outer for sitting outdoors - good portions for reasonable and sometimes expensive dishes (at least they are filled when they are finished) - friendly service the disadvantages are:- rather creepy and gloomy interior design and decorating taste (see photos). for a person who does not have the same interest, it is like a cemetery full of remains and skeleton, fishgrats and cocks, some strange taxidermie examples - a little expensive for the location, as Germany should be a good value for me to be service and money. just to illustrate this, we are a 4-headed family who had paid one pornstar."

good sollen fish as main dish, but fish soup (shown as restaurant speciality is very salty ... last but not least: the lobster is the worst I have ever eaten in a restaurant - as soft as a fish, no taste at all and covered with a greenish surface. hopefully, I won't get bad after that.

a restaurant of special art, the inner a real maritime museum, dried fish, souvenirs from indien, Africa etc., from a former grandfather around 1890... the dishes are hearty and surprising. fresh seafood, genuine pommes not red, but orange, because made with sweet potatoes a great selection of beer and a price for everything more than respectable ... very low ... hut off

old-fashioned restaurant, stuffed with artifacts like stuffed animals. very large fish selection and very delicious fish! we had a large fish plate with really excellent fish & seafood (5 sorts plus crumbs and mosquitoes) and super value for money! service also friendly. only with the supplements (drumbs, icebergsalat as with mutti in the 80s) the kitchen weakens a bit - yet on the basis of the great fish a clear recommendation! service was very friendly flott, which is local is very rustic inside as many have already said. we had unfortunately ordered such a mixed fish plate (it was on this day lust on bratkartoffel fish) with mushes and vegetables and roast potatoes. the fish was very good, but the nice hasn't tasted me at all, any combination of spices I found rather terrible. Too bad. probably you better stick to the more high-quality fish or meat dishes.

in all the ports, the fish soup has to be one for me and when I read that this is prepared here after a 130 year old recipe, my joy barely knew yet limits. Although excellently compiled and spiced, I was somewhat disappointed. the taste reminded me more of the sweet soup than of borillas. The matjefilets Glücksstädter art, on the other hand, were a single dense, from the super-species matjes to the butter potatoes to the mini-moon. Since it was too much for my wife, I still came to a wonderful pale man's mouse. Conclusion: who the fish soup tastes as described here, he can remember the 5th point and eat there absolutely.

"I went there yesterday for lunch while visiting Flensburg. Having beautiful spring weather I was a little hesitant to sit indoors (basement) but upon entering I felt welcomed and settled down for lunch. The restaurant's decor is nothing to write to home about. But the aromas coming from the kitchen smelled right! And we were there to eat.We ordered # 37. Korma Chicken (11,50 €) and #46. Daal Tarka (9,50 €) but since it was lunch time, both dishes cost 7,00 € each. The main courses were served along side a bowl of basmati rice. I just wish salad was included. With two ciders and 2 naans our bill totalled to 24 €.Being from Pakistan and eating home cooked Pakistani food, I was really impressed with their Korma. I have never enjoyed a korma in europe before. But this one tasted really good, it actually tasted of something! Of course the best korma you always get at home. But I will definitely be ordering it again at Shalimar. The daal was just as good. The highlights for us were the chicken korma and the baked naans. They had a bite to them and complimented the curries. The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy and looking around the guests all seemed to be complimenting their food. One thing I have to add, when you tell them how you want your food to be spiced, they actually listen. We asked ours to be hot and they were spiced hot. The waiter asked if I wanted extra green chillies and before I knew it, they were served along side. Something I wish other restaurants would actually do! Freshly finely chopped ginger (Adrak) gave Shalimar extra points in my book! Will we be returning? YES! - Remember, they don't take credit cards - cash only."
