"we have here for an evening meal in the hope for a good typical Swiss dinner and we have! very well located and with super nice and friendly staff. the eating was local and there was a good choice to choose dressed, nevertheless. the quality of it was really high and, even after eating much, you liked felt good and not overwhelmed, how often in other restaurants where the quality is not the best. the only problem is the crazy high prices, but I know is so everywhere in the Swiss, so in consideration of the quality when comparing it with local trips is a good price, but crazy expensive to my standards from the Swiss (we had an appetizer, two main courses, a bottle of water, a glass wein and a beer: all only for the bottle water was just one idea to give). as always, if they are here and they are looking for a typical place to have a beautiful meal and time, definitely recommend to stop by."

overpriced (for the riticoulus and scarce amount of food they receive), quality is nothing special and the service is bad. do not waste their time and money on this place.

Das positive zuerst: Als Hotelgäste könnten wir im Restaurant (statt auf der regnerischen Terrasse) essen. ... Das Essen war ok... aber auch nicht mehr. Rösti war pappig... Geschnetzeltes in einer klumpigen Sauce... Und die Preise waren in Angesicht der Qualität salzig.

One of, if not the oldest restaurant in Bern, always have had good food here, never ever been disappointed. Service is very good polite, and the servers speak several languages. Definitely NOT the corner pub style. If you are disappointed here, then you are very...hard to please indeed.

Zum Zweiten Der erste besuch war einfach überwältigend. Bedienung absolut Top Speisen hervorragend. Jedoch waren wir am Wochenende nochmals Essen. Der Service war nicht ganz so zufriedenstellend wie beim ersten besuch wir waren etwas enttäuscht. Ich denke dies war Stress und Corona bedingt. Trotzdem war das Personal sehr Freundlich und Professionell Fondue etwas überteuert aber das essen war sehr gut. Einen Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden fall.
