"Not recommend by anyone we were fortunate to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant with Inside and outside seating. They have a small portion menu which was perfect for us and it was still a very nice size portion. We ordered the Wiener schnitzel plain and one with the mushroom gravy which was excellent - tons of mushrooms too and it came with a house salad which was very different but delicious. We had the fries and the spätzle and both were excellent. The spätzle light and buttered. The Riesling house wine was very good. We were so thrilled to get such an excellent meal for a fraction of the cost of a Michelin restaurant we went to last night and the food wasn't as good. Definitely come here for a meal as the food is great, service friendly and reasonably priced."

My two friends and I ate at this excellent and had an excellent meal with drinks, main and coffee for 65E. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Portions were large and food was tasty.

Recommended by Rheinhotel. We decided to eat in as it was windy outside. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We are not big eaters so it was nice to be able to have a small schnitzel.

After a day cruising the Rhine and visiting the vineyards we stopped for dinner the the Zur. Wonderful atmosphere and great service. Menu was in English and German making it easy to decide on a selection. The food was good and prices were excellent

We ate at this establishment twice during our stay. The setting is a little dated, but the food was very good, and we received attentive service. The portions were huge and the prices very reasonable! An odd compliment, but the side salad was really delicious.

There were two things that made Zur Loreley a standout in the town of St. Goar: (1) you have the option to order smaller portions of some dishes and (2) the staff and chef are very professional and customer-focused. This was our favorite restaurant in this charming town.

Ate here at recommendation of hotelier. Had a nice chef's choice meal - pork with potatoes - along with a really good mixed salad (several types of cucumber, celeriac, and carrot versions). Staff was polite and the chef even came out to make sure the meal was good. Reasonable prices.

We enjoyed a nice sunny evening on the patio with some delicious Riesling wine! We tried the schnitzel, and pork with onions. Both were simple but very good. The server was a younger blonde girl who was very helpful - suggesting meals, things to do on our stay and had very good English. Would recommend it!

A small family-run hotel with very friendly owners in the pedestrian area of St. Goar, with charm and atmosphere; very quiet, large room with large bathroom (with large shower). Very clean. The room was refurbished and the furnishings are new. Especially the food is to be highlighted as both owners have gained many years of experience in many international kitchens, including Asia, and this is also immediately tested. Especially the pork carving with special pink panade was a dream until the last bite. We felt very comfortable here. Dieter SIEGMUND

Zur Loreley hotel restaurant was recommended by the owner of the hotel we were staying at. Of course we checked other restaurants but settled on to this. The summer evening was pleasant and we sat outside. It's a pretty little restaurant with good service. We ordered the Turkey Schnitzel and Pork fillet with mushrooms along with local Rosè wine and beer. The turkey schnitzel was crispy but not juicy. The pork was well prepared. The typical accompaniments of salad, potatoes and broccoli were delicious especially the broccoli. They accept visa and master card.
