"Another restaurant which is very lucky to be close to Europa Park because otherwise it could close. Deplorable welcome, no polite words. Not a smile, no effort at explanation. Drinks served at room temperature, not of ice cubes available. Pizza approximately correct. Three desserts on the menu, two are not available including ice cream, which is however not complicated to have. Very far from the warm welcome of the Italians. 'wait to receive. Here it 's quite the opposite."

Great compliment! Food was excellent! Nicely dressed plate. The steak was, as desired, beautifully roasted rosé. Very large portions at a really fair price. A very welcoming atmosphere. convinced us!

Yesterday we (3 adults and 2 children) went to eat here after Europa Park... the food was completely there after less than 10 minutes. The lady who served us was super nice and on point, and the food was delicious! We had big doubts due to the recent recessions but that was unfounded... Service: Dine in Price per person: €10–20

"So we wanted to try out some authentic german food and our pension hostess recommended this restaurant. She made a reservation for us and we were on our way!!!The place is nice and big, with an outdoor section as well as large inside area. We as a party of 9 were seated inside after a bit of a wait trying to find a waiter or staff...there did not seem to be any greeters/hostesses around. The menu was quite comprehensive and laid out well, with an explanation of each item in english for those who did not speak german. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpfully, patiently explained the nuances of each item, despite the place being quite busy. We also informed them that we would not be eating pork and our waiter was very vigilant in pointing out when it was present. I had the turkey schnitzel which was like a breaded fried cutlet. My daughter had the steak, and my wife the creamy turkey. Some of the kids had the spaghetti and my brother had the salad with steak. In each case the portions were huge and the food of good solid quality. All the sauces, with steak, schnitzel, pasta were all very tasty and not spicy. Sadly we were too boring and no one ordered the spätzle, which is a german pasta that this restaurant is famous for, making it homemade. We later asked for a bit to try and it was delicious, so make sure at least one dish has this side!!! So a great introduction to german food. They do specialize in meats, so one should try those menu items and not be too conservative. Recommended!!!"
