I know you I sound terrible when you have other options when in Germany. I personally love German cuisine, but when you travel with small children, you've got to give sometimes. I honestly think that this is the best pizza I have tried in Germany. Do try the Rauchbier.

what you write big here. complete package, really great! all those who can't imagine anything: so alone the view, they can over all bamberg. a huge highlight when it's dark outside. the personal is very friendly and accommodating. the foods are more than delicious, also something for very demanding people. the prices are in the upper segment, for that it is simply super delicious! So who wants to have an unforgettable evening is here at every opportunity at the right address.

Francesco is the place you don 't want to miss when in Bamberg. Personally when abroad I am so keen on Italian restaurants, but a friend strongly suggested Francesco and I am glad I followed his advice. It is located in the old Castle overlooking the city you can park in the castle ; the atmosphere is elegant and cozy; the food is excellent the choice varies from seafood to meat. Good selection of wine and both the owner and the waiters take great care of guests. We were in the beer garden which was a unique experience in itself. You must try it!

the francesco am michelsberg is really an exceptional restaurant. in the summer they can sit nicely in the beer garden and take the delicious food. in winter, or some colder days you can comfortably sit in winter garden and look over the city bamberg. it is especially nice to see when it is dark and all lights shine in the city. the service is super, which eat very well. only negatiw it is very expensive, in turn appropriate. so to a special occasion is a visit at each event highly recommended. not forget to book in advance! always very well visited!

I lived in Bamberg and anyone said I had to go to Francesco, so I had a date there... well... I though it was an high quality, well dressed Italian restaurant. As I went there I was overdressed and the service under-dressed, with sneakers (I don 't expect sneakers in an elegant restaurant! , the waitress unkind and the waiter McDonald style. Food was in the average, noting exceptionally that I had expected from a restaurant so well known. Dishes where dirty and the famous panoramic view over Bamberg ... well in Bamberg there are much better places to watch the panorama. I don 't suggest Da Francesco and I definitely won 't go there again. Maybe I had too high expectation, but also without I...
