"The hotel was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, featuring stylish furniture that was very comfortable. Our room was bright and well-ventilated, equipped with a very comfortable bed, a spacious walk-in shower, and a separate bathroom. In addition to the usual ironing board and iron, we had a coffee machine, an electric kettle, a mini-refrigerator stocked with drinks and chocolates, and even a large fan, which was essential for our comfort. The staff were outstanding—helpful, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious, offering a good variety, and was expertly cooked, beautifully presented, and served with a smile. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from shops and bars, making it a wonderful place to stay."

personal and management were always prompt, helpful and professional. the accusations were immaculate; the bed was comfortable. the food in the restaurant was delicious and very cheap. the hotel is a decent walk to the city centre. close enough that it goes there and back is not much of a problem, but far enough to discourage frequent trips back and forth. the hotel rocpool reserve is highly recommended.

Rocpool Reserve was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredible—very friendly, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The spacious bath and showers were fantastic! We enjoyed drinks, afternoon tea, and breakfast at the hotel, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend Rocpool to everyone; it’s a must-visit and truly enhanced our time there!

We had an incredible experience at the Rocpool Hotel for our first wedding celebration. The room was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally attentive. A special shout-out to Daniel, who truly went above and beyond for us. The meal we had at the restaurant was the best I've ever had in my life. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast in our room and requested a late check-out so we could have more time in the whirlpool. I can’t thank the staff enough for making our first day so memorable and for their extra efforts! We can’t wait to return! View menu

my partner and I had today the most amazing lunch in rocpool, for the net we had both the lungs of speyside venison and for dessert I had the three times chocolate praline tart with honey ice cream and my partner had the white chocolate coconut cheesecake with roasted banana babylades cotch. eating was very well presented, the personal was attentive, but not over camp, ambiente was perfect, busy restaurant, but not overcrowded feeling. the cherry on the top was we got our hunting without asking what our were (loved that wee detail!!! . each penny worth, we will be back.

starter today was probably the best I ever had. squid ink risotto with prawns and squid absolutely delicious. could have eaten it for net and sweet. every day. Classic seafood linguine net was generous, loaded with scallops, mosquitoes, garnel, etc. (less a bit ott with sea life today.) great. the food of the companions are all the same good. could not break what we all ate, the venison, rack of lamb, skallops, crab, calves, ibsleber, pluck etc. but. martini not cold enough, big enough or dry enough. teach the bar staff how to do this right! wein superb though and recover the drinks moan! happily eat there every day. top notch.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
