"At first our experience was great, the waitress came and took our order for starters and main courses. We were served our starters within about minutes and they were delicious. After this about one hour goes by with no return of our waitress and...no sign of our main courses. We start to notice that tables that came in quite a while after us were being served and we are now concerned. The restaurant was semi busy, half full. Someone from our party gets up to ask one of the waitress behind the bar as that is where they all stayed most of the time instead on the floor. He is told it should only be about more minutes before our food would come out. minutes later nothing has happened. Another person from our party now gets up and goes by the bar to ask again and he is told the same thing, another couple of minutes. About another minutes go by and still nothing. Another person from our party goes to the bar again to ask what is going on and basically told the same thing. This makes times that someone has had to get up and ask. During this whole time the original waitress never returned to our table to check in or apologize. Our food finally comes out hours of waiting. We are served and out of of the dishes were dry and overcooked as if they had been sitting under lamps too long. Usually after being served your meal it is customary that a server will check back in to ask if everything is ok or if anything else is needed. This did not happen, many of us did not have anything to drink and had to get up and go ask the server behind the bar. Now we are finished with our main course and now sitting for a long time again waiting to cleared of our plates or given a dessert menu or bill. No sign of the server again. We have to flag down another server to ask for the check, we wouldn't dare ask for for the dessert menu. I am writing this review so that maybe someone who is in charge will see this and be able to correct this issue for future diners. We were a party of that arrived around on"

They apparently don't know what a Wiener schnitzel is. I got a breaded steak, almost an inch thick. Terrible. The potatoes were very good, the salmon tartar way too salty and more onion than salmon. The English menu shows higher prices than the German one....Not recommended

This is a really nice restaurant with fresh and imaginative food. The service is friendly, attentive and professional It was so nice to have fresh ingredients tastefully presented and beautifully cooked. Such a refreshing change from all the meat, bread and potatoes so typically served...in Hanover

made well up for some minor hiccups. The food was without fault and nicely present. As with most restaurants who are listed bibgourmand this restaurant is pretty good value for your money. When you are looking out for it, bear in mind that is slightly...hidden away in a passage I found it counting down the house numbers on Joachimstrasse. Unfortunately closed on Sunday, I had booked a table on the spot

The restaurant is tucked away you need to go down a small arcade to find it. We received a very warm welcome from Guney and Constantin who had very kindly stayed on for our late booking due to a late train arrival. The restaurant...is modern and serves both German and Mediterranean food. We had a very good entree of scallops with lentils an unexpectedly modern touch. I had a delicious schnitzel for main course. Nothing was too much trouble for our kind and generous hosts. Highly recommended

This isn't the easiest restaurant to find, but well worth the extra legwork. It was a quiet night, so I received extra personalized service, but I got the strong impression that I would have been treated well even on a busy night. I requested a...cocktail not in the bartender's repertoire and was accommodated enthusiastically. I order a steak, which was cooked perfectly. The entire staff including the chef and the manager were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a few wonderful dining out experiences while in Hannover, this was the best conversation, service, and food

Being German I typically don't ho to German restaurants... I had the pleasure to have dinner at Roehrbein for another time. Again we were served very high quality German cusine.. The Group tried different main dishes and also had desert. All main dishes looked good...and tasted fantastic Sizes of the dishes are adequate and can't be comparted to other cheap places. The desert was some chocolate combination very nice. Priced higher than the average German restauarnt but well worth it. I will be back. I am writing this Review in English to motivate other NonGermany passing through Hannover to take the opportunity to relish some good German Food

The atmosphere is understated but pleasantlots of beige and slightly corporatemore slick than romantic. The menu is enhanced German cuisine with a fair amount of variety. The cream of mushroom soup was phenomenalflavorful and complex. The filet of pork was a mixed bag. The meat...was slightly overdone and as a result, a bit dry. It was so overwhelmed by the sauce that its flavor was insubstantial. The vegetables were overcooked and a bit tired. On the other hand, the baked plum sauce was divine, and the cabbage dumplings were superb. I wish that I had been able to try the chocolate cake, but they were out, so I tried the Bavarian Cream, which I promptly returned. It was followed by some frui...

"In my opinion, the top of the Italian restaurants in Hanover. Location and contact: Roy's restaurant is a bit hidden in the eastern city between Hamburger Allee and Eilenriede. Kitchen is available on Tuesday to Saturday until ~22:00, so a later visit at 21:00 is still possible. Unfortunately, you cannot take dogs, which is understandable in local size. Food: Great! As it belongs to Italian raised cuisine, the ingredients are excellent. The card is clearly kept small, but wide enough that there is something for every taste. But that's only half the rent. What Roy's is for me about Tesoro, Castello, Leonardo (also all worth a visit: etc.) is the extraordinary attention to detail, both in presentation and taste. The flavor combinations are partly simple, partly refined, but always at least with everything I have tried there so far and a true joy for the palate. You taste and see the love of the individual dishes Ambience: Roy's restaurant is small and cozy, with a modern flair and personal decoration. The small restaurant impresses with warm Ambient Lighting and from lasy to excitedly graceful background music. Service: The service also fits the atmosphere. We were received with cordiality and humour, and were supplied with extraordinarily good care. Conclusion: A real gem of Italians and, in my opinion, also after many visits, one of the best places in the city, just like the best Italian in Hanover. 5/5*, top class."
