A rich Apple and Cinnamon Tarte Tatin paired with creamy Roskillys vanilla ice cream and a crunchy, nutty hazelnut biscuit brittle. The perfect finale to an unforgettable lunch. Disappointed really very reduced service /offerings. Not very clearly signposted to outside activities. Looks like it's already been shut down for the season. Ice cream varieties were limited and not as I remembered having elsewhere. A shame as we were looking forward to our first visit to this site although we regularly visit Cornwall. We traveled five hours for our Cornish adventure, and on day one, we booked a roast at Roskilly's. I went for the meat option, which came with both beef and pork, while our friend had the nut roast. Honestly, mine was spot-on – the meat was tender, and the gravy was rich and full of flavor. I paired it with a smooth merlot, which was a cracking choice. The gravy was so good, we couldn’t resist drinking it straight from the jug – no regrets there! The place itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere was really welcoming.
