"We ate here a few times up until Christmas 2014 and loved everything and fully agreed with other reviewers here. Since then we had a take-away and ate in the restaurant twice as a family group. On the last two visits we noticed a few changes (for the worse . They used to serve wonderful chunky chips but now serve very ordinary chips that you find everywhere. They changed the beefburger buns from an unusual (and tasty corn meal bun to a sweet sesame bun just like in a run of the mill burger joint. Recent steak experience also not so good and came with untrimmed fat which spoiled the experience. Meals come served on wooden platters but a couple of times we could taste the wood from the food (time to replace the platters? . We are sorry to give a negative review because it is such a different and pleasant family run place but food standards seem to have slipped? Has anyone else noticed this or were we just unlucky? On our most recent visit we were a bit put out by noisy neighbours and we wondered if this has something to do with the fact that wine is now served?"

Don’t be put off by the cafe like decor, the food is exceptional. We had beef empanadas, which were superb, followed by the Banjeda Paisa and Bistek A Caballos. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic and filling breakfast at Sabor this past weekend. Be sure to try some of their juices (I had the passion fruit) too. The service was excellent and very friendly! View menu

Starters and mains were both great. Had the mixed starter, although slightly too salty, was plenty for 4 people. Churrasco was cooked delighfully : .Service brilliant too. Also I love a BYO restaurant!

I have been to Colombia 4 times but this was the tastiest Colombian meal I have ever tasted. It took a while for the food to be cooked but when it came it was well worth it. Bags of flavour and seasoned to perfection. Delicious.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch of cornbread, scrambled eggs, and chorizo at this quaint South American cafe/restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could sample their main dishes, which also sounded very intriguing. View menu

This is a real gem of a restaurant right next to Tooting Bec station. I would recommend the main that I had, which was a kind of mixed platter of traditional food which included fried plantain, beans, belly pork, sausage, cornbread and avocado! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the bill was very reasonable.

Having never tried Columbian food before I was curious as to what it was going to be like. I was pleasantly surprised. We went for one of the platters and one of the corn breads stuffed with chicken and beef. Both were fabulous. The food was made to order and was good quality. The portions were generous and I left feeling nicely full. Try the milkshakes, they were great too.

"I was super excited to come to this restaurant as someone friends recommended it to us before and today we went to a friends birthday. I was extremely disappointed because my expectations were really high specially when the restaurant has 4.9 stars. The staff definitely needs some training as the service we received was shocking. First we were waiting for glasses to drink our sangria for a good ten minutes, then we ordered started and main and we were missing one of the starters we then said that it was fine because the lady that brought the starters to us insinuated it was our fault and stated she only had one in the ticket even thought the other guy who took the order double checked it. Then it was time for the mains everything came out apart for our food which he said was coming in a few minutes, we received our food after 45 minutes not only that but no one came to apologise to us and they didn’t even realised we were missing food. Which makes me think they were only focusing on cleaning and closing instead of taken care of the only customers in the restaurant. When my other friends were eating some people came and at that point we were told not to laugh for no reason. They got their food first so we were definitely forgotten and highlighted it to the guy. He was joking around and we didn’t even get a proper apology. The lady there was really rude and was very clear to all of us that she didn’t want to be there and that was really off putting. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all unless you want to be treated horribly."
