"we found this Italian restaurant in giesing by tripadvisor randomly and are completely enthusiastic! After the first impression was distorted by the departure into the cellar something, a very nice owner surprised us by their courtesy welcome! The card is small and manageable, but convinces directly by fresh and creativity! The desires of our children were also fully satisfied in all directions! To the appetizer we chose the nudes with black truffles, which we have divided into two. without asking, the portion was divided directly to two plates! In the main course we had dorade from the grill (l. day offer) with supplements according to request and the grilled giant campi with Estragon-Prosecco sauce and risotto! Both dishes were freshly prepared and tastefully really great! to the conclusion there was a limoncello or grappa on the house! We will come back to pia during our next week visit and let us pamper with the kitchen!"

This is a hidden gem in a suburb of Munich. You better ask for small portions, cause they're very generous with their food, which is as the Italian kitchen should be: simple but good. We we're lucky with our timing; there was an action going on with high end wines (for us to taste) for the price of the regular open wines. So that was an extra. With a nice limoncello to top it off.

I lived around the corner for many years and this is in fact a hidden gem! Very high quality food with the personal attention of the chef. Simple fresh recipes that surprises you with a wonderful honest taste explosion. We loved it all: the Bruschetta's onthe house, the starters and specially the black tagliatelle with baby clams. Perfect experience! Service, quality and ambiance is all too!

We visited the transport logistic fair in Munich and tried to find on TripAdvisor a local restaurant. Near to our accomodation we found this lovely italian restaurant - the best ever we had outside Italy. The staff is professional, hospitable and really kind. The dishes are excellent: tasty and nice. We suggest everyone to visit this place. Do not forget to try the desserts: tiramisu and panna cotta.

While visiting Germany we ate here on the advice of a friend and if you're ever in Munich and need a break from beer and wurst and pretzels or just love Italian food...THIS is a great place. Tucked away, it is a hidden gem with delicious pastas and a really nice wine list. We enjoyed the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad to start. It was wonderful. Each of us had a pasta dish which we all enjoyed. Pia, the owner is accommodating and wonderful. It was just what we needed after a very long day of sightseeing.

So giesing is not a gastronomic eldorado, and is not called by-language glass-square for nothing, so it has overestimated us that there should be great Italian cuisine here. but actually: there is it! nice service and great card. a so delicate otopus you get really rare, it almost crawled on the hill! also the nudes very excellent. the card always offers 5-6 alternatives, but the dominates the kitchen obvious! the local is in the cellar and the view goes on a big wine cellar, which you can also rent for events.

we have the tasting menu with octopus, truffle paste and bark fillet and finally panna cotta or Marzipan poppy mousse tried. as we preferred the somewhat more expensive chianti, but was worth it. The octopus was excellent, the truffle pasta was very good and also the bark fillet was very well prepared. the dessert tasted excellent. a mild grappa as an addition to the house rounded off the evening. The location is appealing and has a light, swinged atmosphere. the service of the owner is very friendly and informative.

I believe to reason seen that I can express my personal satisfaction and that of my family on a pleasant evening spent at saffer's farm. optimal reception and professionalism of the owner immediately put us at ease. simple, comfortable and characteristic place. Appetizers and first plentiful and of excellent quality . cost more than honest especially if contextualized to the good quality of food. only note that I feel to report is the non-availability for electronic payment with credit card .I would say quite unusual nowadays but above all inconvenience and embarrassment in case of non-availability of cash.
