Tonight was our first time having a takeaway from Saffron....EXCELLENT! We will be ordering again as our food was first-class from start to finish. Good portions and nice to have a dish that was actually filled with meat unlike some places that may allow 4 pieces of meat per portion and leave you with a sea of sauce instead. I checked the restaurant's own website for their opening hours and used the online form to make a reservation two days in advance. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I found a "closed" sign on the door along with updated hours posted in the window. Despite having made a booking, we were not informed that they wouldn't be open, and there has been no communication from them. I've been unable to reach them by phone for three days. Service: 1

After what had been almost 18 months not having a take away from Saffron, Knighton, I walked in and was immediately welcomed by my first name. Brought a smile to my face! Friendly, warm and welcoming, Saffron also doesn’t let you down when it comes to the food. 7 main dishes and 5 sides all tasted great, especially the King Prawn Exotic, a particular favourite. The team is always happy to chat and welcomes customer engagement. Recommend this restaurant highly. P
