"We visited for a lunch in the beautiful upstairs dining room. The staff were very friendly and polite and their attention to detail was fantastic. We had the fish of the day which was monkfish, a very generous portion cooked on the bone. It was a beautiful piece of fish cooked to perfection and served with broccoli and buttered potatoes. Our starters were superb and the whitebait was crispy and delicious as was a beautifully crafted crab salad with charred grapefruit. The crowning glory was the dessert of jelly with cucumber sorbet, just the most perfect dessert which felt like eating a Pimms. One of the cleverest desserts I’ve seen in a long time. My dessert was the chocolate and banana dessert, it was rich and indulgent and sates that sweet hit at the end of a meal. If visiting Yarmouth do not pass up a chance to eat here. Incredible food and amazing hospitality from the staff! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

Stopped in with my wife and little girl. We all had haddock and chips, which we really enjoyed. Lightly batted and very tasty. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Salty's is a cosy bar, with chill vibes and quite intimate. Guaranteed, as it is based in Yarmouth, the pricing can be expected to reflect the affluent frequent flyers and yacht owners. Handful of skinny fries £4.00 Pint of diet coke £4.00 Not worth it. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Please don't book this restaurant unless you've been there before and know it I'm a visitor to the island so booked a table, and seeing the day before just hiw loud and raucous it is, I tried to cancel my reservation for tonight Guess what, they are still charging me for tha table but no doubt also reselling the table. Avoid them if you're a visitor to the island

Brilliant bar with great fun atmosphere. Local ale on tap, served perfectly, with great service and humour. Food was the best we've had in Yarmouth. The George could learn a thing or two from these talented amazing young people. Incredible personable service, with live music at times. What a great place to be formal or informal... I know I prefer the later. Great place to be social with friends or make new friends. You're even allowed to put your mark as ceiling graffiti.... The food is sooooperb and the wine is quite quaffable. Short and sweet menu but plenty for those fishy lovers as one would expect but they do have the odd carnivour delight as well. Tip... the fish and chips an absolute yum and you don't get cheated with the Lobster iether. The specials are whatever comes in on the boat that day. The host and staff were lovely. Last time we visited Salty's and the Island was a good 9 years ago and very little has changed in that time. We came to remember loved ones th...
