"une adresse dans le carnet des amateurs de vins d'exception , l'on ne vient paspour une cuisine très raffinée mais pour déguster un Sancerre d'exception lesancerre de la garenne a verdigny est inoubliable .La cuisine est une cuisine traditionnelle avec pour spécialités des omelettes andouillettes ,crottins de chavignol ,tarte maison , que du bon Imaginez vous en province avec un robert Dalban au bar , le patron un francbuveur sans excès , mais un vrai connaisseur , il avait comme fournisseur lefameux sancerre de chez Melot ce dernier étant devenu inabordable il s'estorienté vers le sancerre de la garenne , c'est tout simplement fabuleux ,j'y retournerai, au fait la bouteille est sur la table , c'est selon la tradition a laficelle . sachant que Dieu nous regarde tout le monde est raisonnable"

Vlak bij de Eiffeltoren. Goed om van een wijntje te genieten. Je kan er ook natuurlijk iets eten. Wijn kopen kan ook. Vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Parfait bistro/restaurant pour se dépayser dans la province française version année 80 en plein cœur du 7eme.Terrines, omelette, tarte tatin...dans un décors et une atmosphère hors du temps très deep province Française. Carte des vins en cohérence. Prix parisiens cependant, mais franchement dépaysant.

This was our local bistro in Paris where we had dinner our last night there, at about 9:00 pm. We're very glad we did. Absolutely delicious. The swordfish steak with vegetables was terrific, and the chicken curry -- slightly sweet, a coconut curry -- was fabulous! I want to know how to make that sauce! We shared a bottle of the house wine, Sancerre, a fruity yet semi-dry white, which was excellent, a perfect complement to the meal. We also chose one chocolate cake (which came with ice cream) and a sampler, all of which was delicious. I highly recommend!.

This is my second time, and the first was by chance. Just biked around in the dusk hours after meetings, and stumbled on the old couple. He's 77 years old, and makes a fantastic omelette, the selection of cured meats and cheese is good and he always has a nice light Sancerre to pair. It's a romantic place, and the second time around, I'm alone again. Wish I had the family and my wife with me. However, I'm slightly saddened that he will retire but the place will be left the same in different hands. Looking forward to my next return but will miss the old couple.

I live close to the Champs de Mars and have been going to Le Sancerre for years. The atmosphere takes you out of Paris and into the middle of a hunting region in Sancerre. In the winter, there is a fireplace burning and it feels like a country inn, just a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower. M. Guillaume, the owner, is an avid hunter and in the winter hunting season often serves his game from his shoots.The omelettes are possible the BEST in the World !! The charcuterie plate as an apéritif with a bottle of Sancerre is a treat.The cuisine is rustic, sincere and very good and one that will unfortunately disappear when M. Guillaume retires and it will surely be turned into a trendy shop or an...
