Santa Lucia - Menu

A lovely authentic Italian restaurant tucked into the 6th (which is a nice area to walk around as well)The second visit was as good as the first.

Had enough French food for a while. After a great lunch, we were looking for something on the lighter side. A nice bottle of Chianti to start with while reviewing the menu. Appertizer plate and a pizza to share. Both hit the spot.

santa miró is a small Italian restaurant that is located in the street tin. this offers a very good kitchen at good prices in a neighborhood where it is not always possible to eat for cheap. I recommend you try the milanes only because they are very good. I love going to this place. View menu

An amazing find when walking around Paris. It is full of very friendly staff and lovely food. There was a good range of choices for different courses. I had a truffle pasta and my husband had a pizza- which was freshly cooked in a pizza oven. Desserts were amazing! Traditional tiramisu was gorgeous and the banana split had awesome ice cream. You could tell it was good quality ingredients cooked well. And the price wasn't bad for Paris!

The waiter took my order, brought the food and disappeared. I asked for a glass of Chianti Classico. All they had by the glass was Merlot. He never asked if I wanted water. Maybe he was a busboy; he certainly wasn't interested in helping a customer. The fettuccine was okay, but served in a weird cheese basket. If you want a dining experience, including a choice of Italian wine, there must be something better. This is the worst restaurant I've ever dined at with a TripAdvisor sticker in the window.

We decided that we wanted to try an Italian restaurant and thought we would try Santa Lucia. We were so glad we did. The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. Their English was better than our French so that worked fine. The pasta was excellent and the "gravy" was very authentic to our tastes. A decent wine selection. Another memorable part of our experience was a very nice local couple sat next to us and we had a very pleasant conversation with them. I love this place! Everything about the restaurant is great the food, the service, and the ambiance. It 's a very cozy place tucked away on Rue des Canettes, where the ambiance feels very warm and friendly. The staff is obviously Italian and proud of what they 've created. The dishes are true Italian dishes. I 've ordered various pizzas and pastas, but my favorites are ironically their house versions of each: the santa lucia pizza and santa lucia pasta. Both were excellent. Also, really delicious house red wine. I always come back to this place!

Great Italian cuisine in Paris, and a vast menu with so many delicious options that I'm convinced one could eat something different each week for a year and walk out satisfied each time. I enjoyed sea bass while my wife enjoyed spicy penne. Not over the top with presentation or prices, yet the flavor, taste and quality could compete with a 5-star restaurant. Great house wines at bargain prices (8.50€/0.5 liter) and a staff that is courteous and welcoming. When we were there it appeared many local families were dining at their favorite local spot... wish Santa Lucia was local for me!

When it comes time for a respite from French cuisine -- even for me, that time does eventually arrive -- Santa Lucia is a fine Italian alternative. The establishment is cozy but fits quite a few tables into a narrow-but-deep space; service, for Madame on a solo visit and for the two of us a few nights later, was terrific; and the night we were both there we sat next to a group that treated us to Large Family Theatre -- Italian, in this case, but with energy and dynamics recognizable anywhere.
