"I got recommended this restaurant as a good place to get take aways. (It's fantastic for eating in as well by the way, but quite a small cosy place so maybe harder to book sometimes). The food is always really lovely. I often have a Mango Chilli massala which is one of the main dishes this place seems to be known for. The sweetness and spicyness both combine to make a seriously tasty dish. The other day I was fancying something a bit less spicy so I had the chicken exotica. Pineapple and Fried Banana in a Mango and Coconut sauce. The chicken was beautifully cooked and spiced, and the sauce offererd a lovely sweet kick, which, when paired with a chilli cheese naan (not as spicy as the mango chilli) and a nice special fried rice made for an absolutely lovely meal. Spot on guys!"

We have dined at this restaurant several times and it is always excellent. Tonight, we opted for takeout which was just as wonderful. The food was amazing and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. View menu

on Friday night. very busy, but we were served in time. eating was very good, more huh than usual in the curries and the staff are friendly. the biggest surprise was the price-performance ratio. will certainly go back, excellent restaurant.

we came over the new year to dinner. the food was delicious and good value. the only reason not to have top brands is the decor/ambiente not great and the personal was a bit grumpy (especially the one behind the bar not the server.) no smile.

We have just moved to Bridgnorth and went to saros based on the great reviews and it did not disappoint at all. We both agreed in all aspects (starters, mains, sundries) it was the best curry we have ever had! 100% our go to place for a curry now! View menu

The food was simply excellent perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and extremely good value for money. It was all so tasty and we will most certainly recommend them to anyone visiting Bridgnorth.

Booked a table for 4 on Saturday night. Had the most wonderful meal! The host was happy, funny and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. We are all on keto diets but didn't say until we were asked if we wanted rice....he recognised we weren't eating carbs and promptly offered to cook us a cauliflower dish not on the menu! All courses were delicious! Will be returning. Thoroughly recommend

"Beautifull hotel, I guess one can call it trendy , but I just don 't understand how they can justify the price £130/night and that most of the time will go to £160 as they run out of entry level ones. So I guess the answer is there because people pay for it! But let 's just make some relevant comparisons Birmingham Grand literally in the heart of the city, brand new, 5* hotel, with all recently decorated rooms to the highest standard is £135 15 for breakfast. Needless to say rooms are air conditioned, fully equipped and genuinelly very posh. Hotel has lifts, has porters and the service is top notch. The Lion is barelly 4* just for trendiness alone, but the actual quality of furnishing is closer to 3*, has no lift and you will be lugging your bags up and down mutiple flights of stairs (and I mean multiple like 8 going up and down) trought narrow corridors to mediocre room (nothing wrong with it just mediocre) which isn 't even air conditioned. Sorry, I just don 't get it. That said restaurant is good fully fine dining if you are into it. Althought in my oppinion it doesn 't fit into the rest of the hotel. So it is ~3.5* hotel which is very youghtfull and trendy and then you get 5* fine dining with very tiny portions for the dinner (which is not criticism of restaurant, it is very good on it 's own). In conclussion I just don 't get what niche this hotel is filling, who stays there and why. The price for the rooms should be £75 95 tops. Shreesbury is not exactly prime tourists destination either (at least shouldn 't). But it seems it is working out for them, I just would not recommend it, I would not stay in it again and it is definatelly not worth the price. Neither in isolation, nor in comparison."
