"During a Weimar weekend we didn't want to miss the Bundesliga start game. The search terms Bundesliga gucken Weimar gave the Schwarzburger Hof, for which we chose the online ticket (future, good price). You can't say anything negative about the waiter. A communicative person who likes to talk to his guests and knows how to get a double with the man. Always friendly and flash, very attentive. The food was more than solid. There were hunter carvings or Schnitzel Hamburger Kunst (with Spiegelei). The carvings were freshly knocked (that could be heard from the open seat and were juicy. The supplements were good. The price-performance ratio was right (both dishes at 10 €). The shop is somewhere between cozy and halfway chic: Dark wood furniture, red painted walls. The beer garden was also very good, but after a while it was too cool. The screens to see football offer a good picture and are big. Many regulars seem to visit the shop."

Because we stayed in upstairs appartement we had eat one dinner there. Service was very friendly and Jägerschnitzel was ok. Only a little too much salted. Also i waited larger variety of beers. Especially local beers.

During the months that I am in Weimar I often go to Schwarzburger Hof. It is a great lokal. I go there for dinner, for dinner and then the evening, or for drinks in the evening. The people who run the place are always there doing the serving and could not be nicer or more accommodating. The food is basic german, very good, generous portions and the price is right. The beer and schnapps prices are also very good. The terrace is a great place to pass the evening like a local!
