"Doesn't look like much from outside but well worth a visit. I was in the area on business and was questioning my decision to eat here when I parked up. Anyway we went in to the bar area and were told we could eat in there or the restaurant area. Ordered our drinks as we looked at the menu. IPL cricket on the TVs. Pool table and dart board tucked away to one side. Food came pretty quickly, it just took us a long time to choose what we wanted to eat as there are so many good sounding dishes. Starter portions were very generous. We ordered three between two and probably would have been enough for us if we stopped there. Starters were accompanies with Salad and 3 chutneys at no extra charge. We didn't finish all the starters, only due to leaving space for our mains. Mains came and had a little wait for fresh plates and the Naan. Mains were good, and we left very full. My colleague commented had we been working in the area for longer he would come back the next day and order different items due to the large menu and great food."

Severely over priced. Panner and mogo were both burnt. Nann was doughy. Won't be ordering again. Really disappointed as food use to be really good.

Excellent service, Delicious food. Mark was manager and was brilliant in his attentiveness. My children had food they loved and our dog was welcome too.

I have been to alot of Indian pubs in my time and we had planned on going to another pub first but they were full. The next option was the scotsman which was fantastic the food was better than I ever expected and service was 2nd to none. A big thank you to Sukh and the team for fantastic service.

Great food and absolutely loved the atmosphere. They played a mix of English and punjabi music to keep everyone entertained. The scotty platter grill was absolutely mouthwatering, the quality and the portion size was so good for the price of it, and you get a big jumbo nann bread with the grill too. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy mix grill and a fresh pint. You cannot go wrong with this place

I visited the Scotsman pub in Southall again yesterday and had a great experience. The atmosphere was nice, with good vibes and cleanliness. The service was excellent as usual. For starters, we tried the fish, pakoras, and chat, all of which were delicious. The only downside was that the portion of fish could have been larger. For the main course, we had chicken karahi, lamb, and chicken Hakka noodles, all of which were tasty. I will definitely be returning soon.

Oh my goodness! This restaurant serves the best Indian food I have ever had, and I have been to India twice this year! The dishes are spicy, but not too overpowering, and packed with incredible flavor. The combination of mint, ginger, curry, tomato, and richness is mind-blowing. The Puri and Nan bread were flavorful and served on a rack. The grilled lamb was delicious. Surprisingly, the prices were quite affordable. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but when the food is this good, it doesn't matter.

I had a terrible experience at The Scotsman last week. The food quality was awful and I would not eat there again even if it was free. The pub itself is nice and the decor is pleasant. The food presentation was good, but the taste was terrible. We ordered a large selection of dishes including a mixed grill, naan bread, chicken curry, and chips. The mixed grill was overseasoned and the chicken curry was the worst I've ever had. Despite the friendly staff, many diners in our party of six got food poisoning. When I emailed the restaurant about this, they ignored my complaint. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an Indian restaurant and I would not go back, even if it was free.

I used to drink here occasionally 30+ years ago and the pub was okay. The beer was always okay but the toilet was basically an outside wall. The beer garden was a 5m square concrete slab at the back. There were also quite a few fights on Friday and Saturday. I went back reluctantly a few days ago to meet some friends and was pleasantly surprised in the change. It has had a major update and looks completely different and much better. The beer is still good and very reasonably priced. The food, for me mainly kebabs, were excellent and juicy and the beer garden has been extended with a conservatory being added. The toilets are now inside and clean ! Too many TV screen showing football would be m...
