"I missed out on the creations of William Drabble back in his days at the Aubergine, which, despite its Michelin star, had not been a public favourite. The addition of Seven Park Place by William Drabble to the 2010 Michelin list definitely pushed me towards reserving a table. I understand a lot of people deride the Michelin guide and while I am not a worshipper, I am inclined to its recommendations, perhaps just out of curiosity to see how right (or wrong) it could get . St. James Club Hotel quietly sits behind the Ritz in a modest building. Though it lacks the high-ceiling grandeur, it is swanky in the same way as Cartier or Bulgari on Old Bond Street , cosily plush . Through the bar...read more"

Seared foie gras with roasted pears and ginger syrup: a beautiful generous serving of foie gras with sweet poached, ginger syrup and wafer thin slices of fresh ginger my wife’s favourite of the night.

St James Hotel and Club was offering a chocolate masterclass with one of the hottest chocolatiers in the name of Paul A. Young. I signed myself up and hoped to learn a few things about the art of chocolate making and drinks pairing.

this is a small restaurant in a small hotel in an ally. but with a Michelin star in a year of opening and with the high ratings one would think it is worth the effort. a classic decker and friendly service. these are plus points. but eating is average that you can get in most restaurants. do not understand me wrong, it is not bad, but it is not of a Michelin standard.

Great ambience, service, food and wine. This is the best restaurant experience we have had in the UK and the manager, sommelier and staff were fantastic from start to finish both friendly and professional and we were not rushed in any way having the degustation menu over a 3hr plus time frame in the evening. Next time we are back in London this will be the restaurant of choice. Thanks for a great evening!

I enjoyed a Saturday lunch after the royal academy summer exhibition and was amazed at the cozy and tiny surroundings of the restaurant. the service was impeccable and transmits a feeling, en famille that made the good eating even more pleasant. the hotel in which the restaurant is located is located a bit behind and needs something to look for, which is worth the wall. if they need a moment atem, combined with a good lunch after they have their money on piccadilly or in saint james' (they can be next door, cum grano salis), this could be the place.

Seven Park Place is having a relaxing and interesting setting for dinner. The food is even better, presented immaculately like a piece of art but it looks and smells so delicious that you can't wait to ruin with your knife and fork. Never too complicated but enough elements to make it interesting and full of flavors that you know will be heaven in your mouth. The service is sublime, professional to the highest order but with enough humility to not be stuffy. I have been twice and can't wait to go again. I also recommended to so many friends and even to my office staff.

Lovely hidden away restaurant in St James's Hotel and Club. Tiny but plush. Lovely service. A great lunch deal, 3 courses for £29.50 with a glass of wine included not that I stuck to the lunch deal! I had a very fresh scallop starter, and a lamb medley for my main apparently the chefs peferred dish. I chose well on both counts. I had wine matched with my dishes and the red with the lamb was excellent. I wish I hadnt gone for dessert as it wasnt really up to the standard of the other two dishes, far too sweet for my taste, raspberry and raspberry something. But I would definitely return there, and the staff were lovely

This was our first visit and it was a very good one. The cuisine was up there with the best. My lobster starter was easily one of the best I've had (I had more than a few... . The grouse dish was also top notch. My friend's foie gras and rabbit dishes were also reportedly spectacular. We also enjoyed a selection of English cheeses, again absolutely delicious. The service very good as you'd expect. The restaurant is elegant and quite so no problem hearing your conversation. It's worth pointing out that the wine list is comprehensive, somewhere in the region on 700 choices I was told. Fair to say you'll find something to your liking. Bon Appétit
