"Came here to eat a few weeks ago with friends who were visiting. I appreciate the restaurant is very small which is why we have to sit outside if the few tables inside are occupied, but the area was very poorly kept and the tables rocking all over the place. We were then left waiting for almost 10 minutes for a drinks order and then when we asked for a menu we were told to go and take a picture of the A-board because they don’t do menus. Asked for an allergen sheet and was told there wasn’t one which I’m sure is a legal requirement… Fast forward 15 minutes are we finally got to place an order, though it took a while as the young lady taking the order went off to talk to her mum half way through. Finally received our food, small portion and was a little tasteless and watery, both the spicy prawn spaghetti and the gammon ragu which was bulked out with sausage and wasn’t listed on the menu. Not great for a £15 plate. The bread balsamic and olive oil was good, though that is very hard to get wrong. We quickly finished our meal because we wanted to get out of there, though we were again held up by the staff who we had to ask three times for the bill. Won’t be going back. Overpriced, poor quality, guests under appreciated by the staff and misleading menu. I could make better at home for a couple quid a plate."

Very good food and nice service. I deduct stars for the inability to pay in cash.

Really love the food, the wine and the laid back authentic atmosphere. Fabulous addition to West Bridgford. View menu

This is our family’s favourite's restaurant the food and service is amazing. However, after reading the owner’s social media posts followed by the local news paper report I won’t ever dine there again.

Went for lunch, a warm welcome from the owner who said there was freshly made tagliatelle available. The menu was short, 2 staters, 2 mains and tiramisu for dessert. It was a good sign!! We had burrata with fresh tomatoes, followed by tagliatelle in a tomatoe sauce with a slice of rolled pork on top…it was delicious and we will definitely be back.

My honest review of the food is that it's pretty good not mind blowing, there are better places for pasta but you'll have a SOLID plate of pasta here. But the owner is a grade A, premium wagyu, prime fillet nobhead with no self awareness. They are not inclusive, they are not mindful and certainly not demure. I would highly consider avoiding this establishment and the others they own. View menu

Came here with my partner the night before my graduation as we have been wanting to try this place for months. The service was absolutely shocking, all we ordered was some bread and pasta. It took about 30 minutes for some bread and oil to arrive this should take seconds? We then waited about another 40 minutes for the pasta to arrive (bear in mind there are 4 items on the menu) and there was a huge queue outside so you would think they would try and be fast! Overall it took 2 hours for 1x bread and 2x pasta dishes and they still hadn’t cleared the plates or given us the bill. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Fun, quirky, eccentric and truly enjoyable. The reviews we have seen suggested that there were mixed views but suspect that is down to expectations. We went a Saturday evening, got a table for two, selected really easy food from their small daily menu (3/4 starters, 4 mains) with an excellent beetroot smoked salmon and a burrata on Guacomole. Main courses were an excellent prawn spaghetti, and a nduja mezzalune. Wine list similarly short but house white and red were excellent and excellent value. Service enthusiastic with a small dash of fawlty towers but we enjoyed it and warmed to the clear enthusiasm of the front of house team. Well done to all concerned and despite its feel, there was no...
