"I've been visiting here for years and introduced a lot of friends and family to this little gem. I took my Mum here as we were going to watch Simply Red at the arena, and it is close by. I hadn't booked, and the guy...did fit us in, although at one point, I thought he was going to turn us away. We sat at a table for two that was really small as the place was packed out, and it was that tight. I struggled to get my coat off. We ordered a main meal of mixed Kebabs, and I had to ask for our bread as missing off the plate. Rice seemed different than previously, but all hot and fresh. We asked to see the desert menu, but with only two options, one being ice cream, we delined and paid the bill. This restaurant is now that, busy, it was sickning to see the business they must have to turn away. We also had to queue for the one toilet that is unisex but clean."

from this place and decided to try...was very pleasantly surprised. eating was excellent, some of the best lamb kebab I had and portion generous. price was right, excellent. I had the calzon, she had the lamb excellent.

This was our 3rd visit to Shiraz it never disappoints. It Cosy inviting staff are wonderful mention to Nicola. The food is cooked fresh we had the cold mezes for 1 which is more than enough for 2 people. The mixed kebah lamb and chicken....Its a place to visit for Turkish/Mediterranean food. We will be back again soon.

Called for food after a random search for food nearby while we were taking a weekend break in Liverpool. I chose the mixed grill and my wife the fish of the day. We enjoyed the food very much, no bones in the fish and generous...portions served quickly by a charming young lady. Jess couldn't do enough to please. Definitely recommended.

We visited this restaurant for a meal, as we were not hungry but knowing we would have to eat or be hungry at night we shared a kebab, it was absolutely lovely, lamb on a bread base with rice, salad, chips and yoghurt. The waiter...was a lovely chap, explaining pictures of Iran around the restaurant, telling us about some history of his country. I will definitely go back as we have family in Liverpool now, and not be sharing a meal, strongly recommend this place. Thank you Shiraz restaurant.
