Gutes Restaurant mit meist touristischen Gästen schöner Biergarten angenehmes Ambiente. Bedienung sehe freundlich jedoch studentische Aushilfe.

Durchschnittliche Küche, schönes Ambiente und pfiffiges Personal. In meinen Augen typisches Touristenlokal, das halt sehr schön liegt. (direkt am Krokodil)

Large, petty-bourgeois bathroom kitchen! More changing lunch menu at moderate prices! In the middle of the old town! Beautiful ambience and a very friendly staff! We're coming back

We sat outside enjoying a delicious meal. My peppersteak was perfectly cooked and the sauce was excuisite. The location is near perfect - close to some of the nicest places in town. By the way, my son´s steak was slightly undercooked, but it was immediately fixed with extra garniture.

This restaurant is entirely adequate if you're looking for a place to get decent German food. I've had better at other places but it was OK here. Service was pretty good, however one of the waiters spilled gravy on my hat and didn't apologize… LOL. Kind of gives you a clue. The view is nice onto the canal and some musicians come by and sing for you as well sometimes good and sometimes not. Overall it's a decent place and I like the atmosphere.

Wir haben ei en Tagestripp nach Freiburg unternommen und waren zum Mittagessen in der Sichelschmiede. Der Außenbereich des Restaurants ist etwas idyllisch und romantisch. Gelegentlich hat es etwas nach Kanalisation gerochen dafür kann aber das Restaurant nichts bzw. war es evtl. etwas Wetterabhängig. (Deswegen 1 Punkt Abzug) Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und nett. Der Biergarten neben dem Bach ist romantisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This terrace area is part of 2 restaurants, the Rauhen man and the Sichelschmiede . The menus looked similar and so we sat down at a table that belonged to the sickle forge. Operation At the beginning, the operation was quite nice and pointed out that we should slip a little more (with the whole table), because we would otherwise wet, the rain should get worse.
