"My husband and I went to this restaurant on 14 Feb 2017. And this was the worst service ever, we had reservations for 2030 and once we got seated we noticed on our table we didn 't have any bread like everyone else did. Our server didn 't offer us a menu to see what we were paying for he just asked us if we wanted hot fish or cold fish but didn 't allow us to see what else they offered to eat. Once we got the antipasti we weren 't served again until 2100 after I asked the waiter if we had ordered anything else, he told me to hold on and he went to check and came back and said it was almost done. What was almost done we don 't I know what else we ordered because we didn 't see a menu to see what else we wanted. So after he left to go get our second plate it was fish and shrimp but I also didn 't know they had muscles and pasta etc. After we got our second plate at 2120 and finished I asked for our bill, well needless to say they never brought it. So we walked to the cashier and once we got our bill it was €80 for only 2 plates of antipasti, fish and whole bottle of wine I didn 't even drink a glass or 2 would have been great and water. Overall this was the worst service ever and will NOT recommend to anyone."

Behind Piazza Duomo, next to Porta Uzeda is this famous restaurant, offers and excellent service, traditional meat and fish dishes

It is a special Sicilian restaurant, very nice, a dream atmosphere. Live music, cheerful waiters and patrons monitor how customers are treated. It can also be paid with the card. Enjoy!

È un mio punto di riferimento quando ho voglia di pesce. In coppia o con amici gustare ottimi piatti tradizionali ma moderni. I piatti più buoni l'antipasto e caserecci alla Sicilia in Bocca.

We went for lunch, the service was very good, we got a high chair for our almost 2-year old and got some bread. The menu offers a lot, all fresh and good sea food. We had pasta, fried calamari, clams and more. All very tasty! We enjoyed having lunch on the patio, nice atmosphere.

Parto subito con un consiglio: non fatevi portare il menù. Lasciatevi elencare dal simpatico e professionale Salvo le proposte culinarie che variano in base a cosa porta il Mare. Pesce fresco e gustosissimo.Personale cordiale e disponibile.Torneremo sicuramente per poter apprezzare altri piatti dell'offerta di Sicilia in bocca!

The place is not cheap. Be prepare to spend 40-50 euro. But you can pick your fresh fish of the day and you can have vegetable buffet among many other in the menu. Food is good. I had octopus, shrimp and some fish appetizer. A vegetable buffet (a little on the oil side but that's Italian for you) and 2 small fresh fish. The service is good however they don't speak any English so be prepared if that's your language.
