Been here a few times for food, always great staff with smiles on faces and the food is even better. last time I went I got the meatballs, was amazing. highly recommend

Got the homemade crumpets with bacon, sausage and fried egg. Was absolutely lovely. Asked for some brown sauce to dip the sausage in and got a pot of homemade brown sauce which was delicious.

Have been here a few times to eat in the afternoon and evening. I have never been let down We've had Scouse, meatballs and been to their events and they've all been fantastic. I can't recommend them enough View menu

Foods always stunning. Although portions are getting slowly smaller. Everything is home made and beautiful. Handed my Cv once and staff next day when I was dining never had a clue the cv they were laughing at was mine.

Went for lunch. Can’t rate the food highly enough. Probably the best tasting food we’ve had this year. Recommend both the meat and vegan scouse. Friendly staff and good service. Even a few dinosaurs (due to an event). Will definitely be back.

Myself and my husband recently visited Skaus on Allerton Road for a coffee stop on our lockdown walk. We also bought takeaway scouse to heat up at home, pickled cabbage, a jar of homemade kimchi and fresh sourdough bread! All absolutely delicious, gorgeous Scandinavian style decor inside, friendly staff and we can’t wait to visit again! Thanks guys, a brilliant addition to Allerton Road.

Went for brunch and ordered the miso mushrooms on toast which were really tasty. Both loved our coffee and would get these items again. Also ordered soda bread toast £6! Tasty but not worth the price. The hash browns I was super excited about were not seasoned at all and the cheese was stingy which looked generous on top but wasn’t really enough. The olive ketchup is nice but not for the hash browns overpowered the entire dish. Partner also had granola which he was enjoying until half of it was an orange chutney which again over powered the entire dish. He would get again but ask for it without the orange chutney. This is my go to venue whenever I’m in the Allerton region meeting friends, getting hangry whilst shopping or simply need a little pick me up. The interior is gorgeously designed simple and Scandi inspired. An instant helping of hygge as soon as you walk in. The staff are always as lovely as can be without ever being over the top a delicate balance that’s hard to achieve (but these guys have nailed it!
