really great vegetarian cuisine! we went to the evening session and were very impressed. they have a nice menu with a lot of kitchens. would be happy to try everything.

Good veggie food, a little short on vegan options though. Day time menu a little limited especially in dairy free puds but over all a welcome addition to veggie eateries

beautiful restaurant, with a good selection of vegetarian meals. the food was fresh, and obviously boiled to home. well, have a selection of vegetarian burgers on the menu instead of just the one! comes back when it is in newcastle.

great tasting, good price food in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. the service can be slow to busy times, but eating is worth it. menu changes all two months so it never gets boring. In the evenings [restaurant setup] are popular so book early to avoid disappointment. Daytime [Café-Setup] is a thing of the turn up and is very child-friendly. highly recommended!

Sky apple cafe is a great place for vegetarians with a mixture of dishes to suit all tastes ranging from indian to mexican and more. Although the menu is limited I am confident nosy people would easily find something they liked. The dessert was just fabulous and definately would make me wanna go back there! The staff were nice and it is reasonably priced. The reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I thought it was a bit too claustrophobic in there and the service was slightly too slow. This café is a peaceful haven in a posh area of Newcastle. We stopped by for some cake before heading home and were impressed by the selection of vegan cakes available. I chose the Victoria Sponge and was pleasantly surprised by how light and delicious it was. My partner had the lemon poppyseed cake, which was also fantastic. The atmosphere in the café was relaxed and the staff were friendly. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy some delicious cake. I will definitely return to Sky Apple Café next time I'm in Newcastle, not just for the cake but for the customizable vegetarian dishes available for vegans as well. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I could happily eat there all day...

A terrible experience! My wife and daughter, who were regular customers until now, visited the restaurant yesterday. My daughter ordered her usual bruschetta with tomato, mozzarella, and pesto, which she has had several times before. However, she has a severe nut allergy. After a few bites, her throat started swelling and she felt very ill. Upon asking, the staff mentioned that the chef had used a mixture of walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts instead of pine nuts for the pesto. Unfortunately, my daughter is only allergic to pine nuts, not others. The lady present was extremely unhelpful and rude when informed about the issue.
