Fantastic country pub with good pub grub at a reasonable price, good selection of beers and a warm welcoming atmosphere

This pub has a charming village atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of beers and wines. It's a great place to start off your night or enjoy a peaceful pint on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

The child's pizza was hard the cheese tasted weird but chips were nice seats are comfortable for anyone. Overall it was good. The gooie chocolate brownie on the kids menu was pleasant but could use more sauce.

Lovely pub in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We had lunch service and the food was expertly cooked, great presentation and taste great. We are looking forward to returning.

The Smiths is located just a short drive from Hampsthwaite, where I have my car valeting service. We decided to book a meal there and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location, delicious food, and excellent service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Ignorance personified. The guy behind the bar was most put out we dared asked for a menu, snapped at us it was a 45 minute wait then saw him round the corner talking to another stony faced colleague and pointing over at us. He has been reported utterly clever, ignorant horrible man.

We had a great experience at this lovely pub. Despite being fully booked on the day we visited, they were able to accommodate us and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. The ambiance and service were both exceptional. It is also located in a beautiful setting. 10 out of 10.
