"Lovely spot right by the canal. Service was a little slow to start. They hit two of my pet peeves immediately-offered water we said still. Offered bread we said yes. Charged us £15 for two bottles of water and £10 for two small basket of bread. Charging for these items was not listed on the menu, nor mentioned by the staff. When I went to their website it noted Happy Hour-but failed to mention it was only for bar seating. All this said, my entree of sea bass was excellent. My partner had the brisket and was amazed how it just fell off the bone. Would go again, just not get clipped for water and bread."

A great place to meet a friend. Courteous welcome, good food and not expensive.

Cozy atmosphere with excellent service. Drinks were made to perfection. The chicken is a must try and the Monday beef special added a nice touch, that brisket was unbelieveble. Can’t wait to return! View menu

Nice restaurant but hideous uneccesary music being played by a DJ The portion of mussels was terrible most we closed empty and the ones that werent were tiny, must have had 8 mussels edible out of 20. The steak was lovely and the staff friendly

My husband and I were in the city for a couple of days. My son recommended it and it didn’t disappoint. We had to have a couple of things explained in the menu and the staff nailed it. Yummy tequila cocktail. He had the baby chicken while I had the burger, both were outstanding. Staff were appropriately attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

I always try to come here when I’m in London, especially when my wife is out shopping. Nice decorated place with a really nice mixed clientele, you can enjoy a glass of wine on the patio outside by the Little Venice area just on the river side, very nice service and relaxing atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the rib eye steak with garlic butter, very succulent and full of flavors. View menu

Not great. Service was very poor. Took half an hour to take our order after being seated. Had to ask if we could order. Waiter seemed a bit miffed by that. They seemed short staffed and some of the staff did not look particularly well trained. Order a side and it was forgotten...no chance of raising the issue with non-existent grumpy waiters. Shame because it's a nice place but won't be rushing back.

We had lunch at Smith’s. It’s one of those places where you enter and the first impression is mind blowing. The renovated building is beautiful and the location is quite unique, just by the river in Paddington basin area. The vibe when you walk in is great. Despite it being really busy, the service was super fast and efficient. And very friendly. We had the seasonal set menu and it was real good very convenient. There is an extensive selection of wine with a professional sommelier that can help you choose the right one for you, overall it was a magnificent experience.
