Visiting Vienna from the US. Who would have thought a Texan would have to go to Vienna for the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had! Wonderful food, very friendly staff, and very reasonably priced. I'm so pleased I stopped here for dinner!

Absolutely sublime burgers. This establishment knows how to source the finest meat, and craft the finest patties. Grilled to perfection. Wide selection of buns, sides and home made sauces. Go for the large and get an egg on top. You will not be disappointed.

If you’re close to the Donaukanal and fancy a burger and some craft beers, Smokey’s could be a solid choice. Their menu is small, and don’t expect many options for vegetarians, but that’s not the point. The point is well made burgers, a wide selection of sauces and a couple local brews. However, despite the attention to quality ingredients and well made burgers, the meat itself always fails to wow me. It tastes as basic as any other burger, and anything ordered other than “well done” ends up being raw. Smokey's does an awesome burger. The best thing about Smokey's is that the burgers are totally tailored to what you want: white bread, brown bread, rare medium well done, cheese bacon whatever else ! on top, chunky potato wedges or chips and or salad plus one of the awesome sauces on the side. I would recommend honey mustard or sweet whiskey which is yum even though I hate whiskey . If you go for the traditional Smokey's burger which I would recommend you also choose your size: small, medium or large.....I went for the medium then lapsed into a food coma for an hour afterwards. I went with high hopes based on others reviews but if this is Vienna 's best hamburger I am in trouble. : This is not an American style hamburger. If you are expecting a 5 Guys or Fuddruckers quality burger, keep looking. As an American who knows hamburgers I was disappointed. The meat was fine and cooked well it was everything else about the burger that was a disappointment. The main problem I had was the burger being served on an thin 'English Muffin ' style bun. This is a great burger place near Swedenplatz, so it's very easy to get there. We went there on a Monday evening due to many other places being closed. Because of the nice and warm weather we were able to sit outside on the terrace in front of the restaurant. The menu offers a variety of food and drinks.
