Wahaca Canary Wharf

A team dinner on Monday this week. Thanks to the team who were really friendly. My bosses like this place and I can see why they keep coming back. Good value food.

Great and lively location overlooking all the hustle and bustle of canary wharf. Super friendly and helpful service but the food: So bland and thorughly uninspiring.

Had the set lunch menu on the terrace overlooking Reuters Square. The food and service could not be bettered. The loos were spotless. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff are very good were attentive. The food is just delicious reasonably priced. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we went there for dinner too. Highly recommended.

Don’t waste your money! this place is awful. Food was utterly tasteless and the service is what I can only describe as odd. I am told the branch on the Strand is far better but as for this branch never again !!!

Tried to book online told they couldn't take any more bookings online and try at the restaurant. Turned up at7.15 on a Saturday night only one other couple in the restaurant. Food was very disappointing. Ordered the sirloin steak for £28 thin lots of gristle. Ordered the voodoo chicken wings for starters very bland expecting more of a kick,total bill including 2 cocktails £81. Never again.

The food was good, the service was inconsistent, either couldn't get any attention or it was over the top, numerous staff at our table every few minutes. My friend and I were horrified to see a mouse running around the tables. We pointed this out to a waitress and then to a Male colleague of hers. He kicked the hole in the wall that the mouse kept running in and out of and tapped the walls. I said this wasn't what I expected in a restaurant and he shrugged and said it was probably because it was cold outside. He thanked me for pointing it out to him and then carried on with his duties while the mouse continued to make a few more appearances. There was no apology or anything else said or done...

When i had arrived to the restaurant reception there was no one there to greet. Instead 3 staff saw me but ignored and carried on doing their delivery. There was a male staff who saw me but walked past me twice whilst he was clearing delivery. When I asked if anyone was here at front desk he just told me to go in and just choose a table. When i sat down NO ONE came to serve if i wanted a drink. When my friend came we both just walked out on friday afternoon 5pm and the place was quite empty. I wonder why. Anyways I didn't see the point in making dinner reservation if it was this formal so we end up going to big easy instead. Not impress and won't go again. P.s shame I can't comment on the fo...

I had agreed to meet a colleague for a coffee in Smollensky's in Canary Wharf at 10am today. We have had lunch their several times previously. When I arrived at 10am today the staff said that they had not opened yet and recommended that I go downstairs to Carluccios which I did. I bought 2 coffees from Carluccios and sat in the Smollenkys downstairs area. just before 11am the Manager of Smollensky's without warning or introduction started picking up our coffees and aggressively telling is that this was not Carluccios and threateningly telling us to move on.
