"Big portions of nutritionally dense food, served beautifully. The nachos had me beaten, the photos don't do justice to how filling this dish is, the refried beans are awesome. Cashew Baby Smoothie was soo creamy. Other half really enjoyed a cashew cheese toastie with a kale/spinach salad this was a Small Plate but still a generous portion. Accessible toilet. Clean and pleasant cafe. If you have time, chat with the owner about his story, it's worth a listen. Definitely coming back here."

"Visited today with my husband and son for lunch, we all got a bagel they were absolutely delicious! I also got a chai and loved it the way its served is lovely too. Looked like there was only two staff working at the time and they were brilliant considering it was so busy even took the time to come over and give my son a sticker which he hasn't stopped going on about. Additionally, I suggest stopping by for a drink or meal to admire the stunning decor, especially the impressive Victorian tiling in the back room. The Zetland is truly a hidden treasure. Finally, Philip Christie is a delightful host, offering a warm and accommodating experience. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"I really wanted to like this place but it was just awful in so many ways. The food was pretty good, we both had a carbonara but unfortunately my partner found 2 hairs in their food, after getting halfway through my meal I noticed that both my plate and glass were filthy. My glass was dusty and also had a small hair in it and my plate had clearly not been cleaned properly. My napkin also had a random stain on it and had to be replaced. Although the food wasn't bad it also wasn't what was advertised, it was very clearly not fresh pasta and it wasn't the type that was supposed to come with the dish, instead of fresh ribbon pasta we just got standard premade spaghetti. Very unfortunate, it should have been a red flag that the place was empty on a Friday night, I definitely won't be back until they seriously review their hygiene standards."
