"On Tiber Island, this place is just many among the market of places to choose from. We ended up choosing Spanish Yard as it had a nice view of the river and a seemingly vegetarian friendly menu. We were promptly seated and the waitresses were nice and accommodated having 4 of us sit by the river though it was normally a table for two. (She combined other tables together). We ordered the food and drinks and immediately did not like it at all. The chicken was dry and bland among other things. The prawns were tasteless. The peppers were coated in layers upon layers of oil. One of the very few vegetarian options “spicy fried potatoes with garlic sauce” turned out to be fried potato chunks which were not spicy at all with a sauce that closely resembled sour cream. The food was absolutely terrible enough said. The waitresses were nice people but they heard our initial drinks order wrong and brought us too many drinks, though it was an honest mistake. Again, the atmosphere was nice, but the tables and chairs were very hard to sit on and the fence (that kept people from falling into the river) was really just for show and not bolted into the ground, thereby making it hard to not be constantly worried about falling into the river. Over all, the food was bad, the atmosphere was okay and the service was fine, which is why I gave two stars."

Locale carino e accogliente il personale cordiale e professionale ,ci sono stata in più occasioni, con amici e familiari e ho mangiato molto bene ,sia il polpo morbido e saporito che gli spiedini di gamberi davvero gustosi e la classica paella. Buoni anche i cocktail e la sangria. Ottima la crema catalana. Davvero consigliato!!!

Not sure but Club is a more appropriate name for this amazing restaurant in Monteverde. I have personally choosen Tonno with pistachio dressing and roasted potatoes and found these exquisite. Pasta was terrific too accordingly with my friends and another one has ordered veal with artichocks which was just perfect. Friendly atmosfere and good service plus a full choice canteen: good job!

Good thing this place is close to the river, because it is a dumpster fire. Despite a lot of staff teeming around the place, we were not able to get service in a timely manner. Once order was placed, we waited. And waited. Some of entrees came out before our tapas. We had get up and help ourselves to sauces. We had to ask and correct the order several times. So many great places in Rome. No need to go to this one.
