"The breakfast at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. I tried both the full fry up and the veggie fry up and left feeling satisfied. The smoothies were also fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the veggie haggis was. I definitely recommend eating here! I visited on a Saturday morning and had no trouble getting a table."

"This wine shop features a small kitchen/restaurant that typically offers vegetarian options on its regular menu. The daily specials usually include dishes like meat lasagna and bratwurst (which were available when we left). We found it difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff, despite there being three of them on duty. The portion sizes were quite small, especially the spinach and ricotta ravioli, but the food itself was delicious. I wouldn’t recommend visiting on busy days, as it seems to impact the quality of service. On a positive note, the wine selection is impressive, featuring choices from around the world; however, the corkage fee is quite steep at £35, while a bottle purchased at the shop costs £62 to enjoy in the restaurant. That said, the wine was of very high quality and was decanted to avoid sediment."

"I will rate this place with a 4/5 according to my scale. Food quality: 2.5/3 Ambiance of the place: 0.4/0.5 Authenticity/ innovativeness of the place: 0.3/0.5 Value/Price of the place: 0.2/0.5 Service of the place: 0.4/0.5 Total: 3.8/5 Casa Fofo was a very interesting experience for us. There is a set menu which was 62 pounds per person. The food, especially the starter, which was a fermented haddock with celery mint and beetroot sauce and the pasta dish were the highlights for us in taste and creativity. The third dish with tomatoes and sourdough crisps were okay. The main meat dish, a 60 day aged steak, was cooked perfectly, but otherwise a bit standard and the eggplant main dish was also tasty but nothing extraordinary. The pre dessert and dessert were delicious and different, but the overall food combination was slightly worse than some of the other Michelin star restaurants. still, this is a great restaurant with a very cute garden and great service that I would recommend for anyone living nearby."

The staff were exceptional, striking the perfect balance between professional and personable. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations. While the prices were on the higher side, they were justified by the quality of the ingredients and the skill in preparation. Burnt Umber is a true gem, ideal for special occasions or for those who appreciate fine dining. I'm already looking forward to my next visit."

"Found Le Merlin on website recommending top restaurants suitable for people with Coeliac disease. It was absolutely amazing, staff were super friendly and we had the best coffee and crepes we’ve ever had, living next to France I’ve eaten a lot of crepes but these were by far the best. Both the savoury and sweet crepes tasted great and can’t wait to go back!"
