"We decided it would be nice to go for lunch, then have a browse round the garden centre as it was my mum 's 91st birthday. We pre booked lunch and when we arrived were seated promptly. Then sat there for 20 minutes with waiting staff completely ignoring us. Finally we went to the counter, only to be told it 's table service. By this time we saw that others arriving after us were being served so my husband approached a waitress and asked if we could order our food. She was very abrupt and kept us waiting a few more minutes before she came over. Rather rude in her attitude when telling one of our group that the meal she ordered was off the menu. Surely a simple Sorry, that 's off this lunchtime would suffice? The food was delicious but again we were totally ignored and had to chase up the bill after sitting there a further 20 minutes (this time we sat there just to see if anybody came over) Shocking service and one rude member of staff. Either more staff needed or more efficient staff needed. The 2 stars was for the food which as I say was delicious."

Very pleasant cafe, Comfortable and roomy. Not very busy. Pleasant and attentive service for early afternoon drinks , cake and scones. Very acceptable product quality. Fair pricing.

Food itself was fine, but the breakfast menu is more limited than it used to be (even post-Covid). But what really prompted me to review was that my wife and I were both put off by the food being brought to tables on trolley. Reminded us both of being in a hospital

Lovely Christmas Dinner, staff helpful. But very cold, sat with our coats on. Told the heating was on, but sorry we were freezing and there was 6 of us. Surely some extra heating is needed in this cold weather, makes your food go cold quicker when the atmosphere is so cold

Disgusting attitude from kitchen with a chef incapable of buttering 2 slices of bread at 11.28 because breakfast finishes at 11.30 .....needed to give a 2 year old before he had his medication ....his comment was were not a hospital. Happy to have ordered lunch at 12 if we could have done the medication.

A busy cafe on a Saturday morning. Glad we had booked. We enjoyed the flexible menu items and were pleased with the cooked breakfasts though could have been hotter} and coffee. Good value too. Service efficient and friendly. The cafe felt cold though......many kept their coats on. So good but not without weaknesses, Comfortable seating and good atmosphere. Certainly better organised than at another location of Squires.

The restaurant had a cold atmosphere and the food was lacking in quality. I was disappointed by the size of the baked potato, which was the smallest I've ever had in a cafe. There were limited options available, with some items not being on the menu. Additionally, I was served mouldy cheese. The glasses were not very clean. Overall, the experience was poor and it seemed like all the staff were being controlled by one inefficient manager. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.

This breakfast experience was the worst we have ever had! The food was delivered quickly after ordering, but it was clear that it had been sitting on a hot plate for some time. The beans were terrible, and my poached egg was stone cold. Although it was replaced with a hot one, the rest of the food was also cold. The black pudding was dry, the sausage was overcooked on one side, and the hash browns were also overcooked. My husband's large coffee was served in a cup barely bigger than an egg cup. We were extremely disappointed and feel that they should stick to selling plants instead of food.

We booked Christmas lunch a few weeks beforehand. We often visit for cake and coffee and the staff seem to remember us . Tables dry with a cracker and paper napkins. Starter for both was prawn cocktail fresh with avocado and leaves The turkey lunch was fabulous, very hot and tasty with all the trimmings. Portions were huge. Served by Heather who was lovely . My husband ordered Xmas pudding with brandy sauce and I had berry cheesecake with ice cream and the Supervisor , Karen was kind enough to wrap it up to take home as I was too full to eat it . Disappointing to read so many negative reviews. The only minor problem was that it was chilly in the restaurant and a few of us needed to keep our...

I usually don't write reviews, but my recent experience at this restaurant was so terrible that I feel I have to share. We had previously enjoyed a meal there, so we decided to take a quick break while Christmas shopping. After waiting for 40 minutes for our food, we asked how much longer it would be, only to find out that our order had not even been processed and the kitchen was already closed. What was even sadder was that none of the many staff members noticed that we had not been served. Most of them were not busy at all. To make matters worse, we were offered a free cake to make up for the inconvenience, but even that was forgotten about and we had to remind them. Needless to say, we wi...
