"Seit Jahren gehen wir in mehr oder minder regelmässigen Abständen zu Attilio in das Mare e Monti. Ich könnte eigentlich in 99,9% aller Besuche eine 5 von 5 Punkten- Bewertung abgeben. Doch eigentlich sollte / darf man es gar nicht, denn sonst wird es immer schwieriger eine Reservierung zu bekommen.Kurzfristig klappt eigentlich nie, aber letzte Woche hatten wir dann doch Glück. Ich kamvon einer Geschäftsreise zurück, einfach angerufen und es war doch tatsächlich ein Tisch für 2 verfügbar.Attilio hatte wieder einiges an "Schmankerln" auf der Schiefertafel und die Vorspeise, die wir hatten war sogar überhaupt nicht gelistet (manchmal hat die Küche noch ein "Secreto" parat).Wir hatten eine schöne Flasche Nero d'Avolo, eine Flasche San Pellegrino, die "geheime" Vorspeiseplatte mit luftgetrocknetem, leicht geräuchertem Entrecote (ähnlich Büdnerfleisch, jedoch mit einem sichtbaren Fettanteil wie Schinken) +zweierlei frische Salami im Fenchel- bzw. Pfeffermantel.Das Hauptgericht war ein "Bistecca alla griglia" und ein "US-Prime-Steak" jeweils mit Gemüse. Jedes einzelne Gericht war eine Freude für den Gaumen. Abgerundet wurde das Essen mit 2 Espressi.Leute, das ist "Dolce Vita", pure Lebenslust und dazu noch zu einem fairen Preis. Attilio und Team - you are the best in town!"

"Visited Hacienda last night with 6 work colleagues for dinner. We were a blend of North American based and France based people who were excited not to eat German food again. The restaurant was a good size, however lacked air conditioning or any fans, which made dinner a little uncomfortable.The food itself was good. I wouldn't say it was authentic Mexican but it was tasty. The guacamole was great and so were the chips. Overall the food was well priced and plentiful. We order lots of drinks and they were relatively good too.My only negative comment would be the service. We had a total of three people waiting in us. The younger server was visably annoyed with having to wait on Americans and snorted when one asked for ice. Also laughed at use when we said "danke", which I thought was not necessary. The woman waiter was not as rude but definitely not friendly either. The older man, who seemed to be the manager, was pleasant and I would have rather dealt with him the whole time."

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."

"I love Die Theke. It is a traditional German pub with a wide selection of different German beers, some local, some from further afield. The food is good too - they have some of the usual things you would expect such as Kasespatzle, various bratwursts, schnitzels etc. but they also do some nice salads, pizzas and steaks. The staff are friendly and efficient and the place has a nice atmosphere. It can get very busy when there is sport on, but it's great if you like a lively atmosphere. The kitchen stays open until 11pm, so you can get late food too."

"War mit Freunden seit längerem mal wieder zu Besuch im Bembelsche.Bei perfektem Wetter draußen im kleinen Garten. Bestellung ging flugs und der Service aufmerksam und echt flott!Das Essen war echt klasse und richtig lecker. Man bekommt richtig leckere traditionelle Gerichte die man sonst nicht überall bekommt. Preise sind für Darmstadt ok fand es dennoch etwas befremdlich, dass man für ein "normales" Schnitzel Beilagen extra bestellen muss und auch extra kosten. Sollte ihr mal überdenken.Werde wohl bald wieder hingehen, weil`s lecker war."
