"There were only two items on the menu actually listed as GF: one main dish and one pudding (cheesecake, with GF oat crust). GF pizza bases are also available but I’m not brave enough to get pizza at a non-GF facility.I ordered the one main dish, and then ordered the cheesecake after a lengthy talk with my waitress and two chefs so I’d feel comfortable. They told me the head chef’s wife is coeliac. When it arrived, there was something crumbly sprinkled over the ice cream, so I took it back to the kitchen to verify it was ok. Turns out it was not GF. They said my waitress should have put the order in as GF. I pointed out that the item was listed GF on their menu, regardless of whether the waitress made a mistake it should have been GF. They made me another plate with no sprinkles.Next day and my stomach is bloated and painful. Not 100% sure it was from my meal here but it’s pretty likely."

After many refits, the Stamford Arms has got it about right. You can go for a drink and feel you're in a pub or for a meal and feel you're in a restaurant....

Beautiful food. Eat here regularly as a coeliac: separate fryer, seperate pizza tools never had an issue. Feels like I’m a normal person having a deliciously normal meal

Lots of gluten free choices. Gluten free pizza bases that are cooked and handled separately. Although not a separate gluten free menu, itens are well marked up as gluten free..

Poor menu nothing labeled gf except they offer gf pizza bases. Kitchen was closed 3 till 4. Only wanted chips and was told they were cooked in a separate fryer 3 ciders and a bottled skinny gf beer ....

at first visit and we will definitely come back! having a nut allergy makes it really hard and often causes stress when it comes to eating. when sitting I drew the beautiful waitress attentive to my allergies, immediately checked in the kitchen and came back to me with the allergy advice. nothing was a problem! 100% recomend
