"Be aware!!!! Eating in this restaurant could be a health hazard. We were at an Indian Event on the 21.10.2016. The buffet was huge and very promising to look at. The food and its flavors had an entirely different story to tell. To begin with the starters were bland and the Samosas stale and rancid. The lukewarm Curries in the main course were missing its typical character one expects from traditional flavor-packed Indian food! To top it all they were serving portions and portions of undercooked (raw and pink) chicken kabaabs!! A final note on the sparse dessert section consisting of Gulab jamuns and Mango Creme . The only hint of Mango in the Mango Creme was its yellow color. It was nothing more than a huge pot of beaten Cream with its main Star Mango missing!! For Any effort to catch the attention of a waiter or management was vain as they were clearly over challenged that evening. I wrote to the management of the event, and received only a non sincere apology but no concern for the bad stomachs me and my family had to suffer after eating the horrible food at the restaurant. I am never ever stepping my foot in that restaurant again."

Amazing lunch place if you work nearby. The buffet is delicious esp. The chili mushroom and eggplant dishes. Also like their chicken, lamb, and fish dishes... basically everything! It's also constantly changing so you can come again and again without getting bored. Lunch with lassi usually comes to 13 14 euro with tip which is not bad considering how delicious the food is. Plus, they aren't shy with the spices like lots of other Indian places in Munich. Only complaint is the dessert bar the mango creme is like pure whipped creme or butter. Maybe something more jogurt/quark like would be better. View menu

with my colleague, who is a great fan of Indian food, to lunch. we were a bit early to reach the place around 1145 and the buffet was just set. started with some fritters from the buffet that were good. were good and freshly prepared with the right amount of seasoned and not too much. sometimes Indian restaurants add a bit extra cream butter to make the food suitable for local palate and I don't like that. yet it was good to eat and the nan’s were also good. for desserts they had sewai and fruits. both took obstsalat. total good buffet, and esp, if they don't know what to order or are time haste, this is the place to go. now to what I think is the problem. the creation of the personal must b...

My experience Buffet special: Vegetarian friendly 5 many options Cost €€ Ambience 4.5, big restaurant, parties possible Service 4 Accessibility 4, Food presentation 3.5 Food quality 3.5 Food taste 4 Child friendly yes They have a big restaurant that can accommodate many ppl. They have a stage and there is buffet everyday for those with big appetite. Weekdays lunch time buffet is very affordable. Nice ambience. They also cater to events. Food tastes of course better at the restaurant than at catering site. Their veg biriyani is good especially if it is part of the buffet. Even if you take buffet, they serve hot rotis and naans to your table upon request. I can't specify any specific dish I tr...

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
