"Of late, I have been writing reviews about Indian restaurants across the Europe and I sincerely hope that it helps people to make intelligent decisions. My latest review is about Suhag. The first thing that catches the eye is the massive size of the restaurant. It can easily cater over 100-150 people at the same time. Indian restaurants in Munich are quite divided in quality, price, location, ambience and service but Suhag fits very well in the category of value for money. The buffets are quite reasonably priced and the staff is extremely helpful. Since there are hardly any Indian restaurants in Munich that qualifies to being brilliant, Suhag is probably the best bet. Happy dining."

This was the first restaurant of our trip. And what a restaurant it was! Simply amazing! Food was very delicious and staff was also courteous. Gulab Jamun was so yummy that it reminded me home made gulab jamuns in India. If you are in Munich and fed up of Eurpoean food this is very good choice and must try.

View menu

Horrible restaurant. Selling obvious bad food. We got a brown and smelling pineapple on our cocktail. After complaining they replaced it with a new smelling pineapple, but they cut the black part out. Food tasted bad, lassi was obvious bad as well, that proofed our diaria. Warning, dont go there, we r thinking to involve the German government.

Mein Tipp: Garlic Chicken Tikka.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
