One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. Very friendly staff. Easy to order ahead on the phone. They accept card payments which is great. My favourite is the spicy beef and black beans sauce (stuff of legends)

We have been many times and I can't understand the bad reviews, we never have an issue we always collect but on time and right order food quality good. They will adjust the ingredients if you ask which is great for us.

Food is fantastic and service is great. Best chinese takeaway we have had. Good portions lots of sauce nothing overly salted. Its became our regular. Prices are fair and for a meal for 4 people came to £60 with all the trimmings etc

I've lived in this area for over 15 years and Sun Wah has consistently been the best Chinese takeaway. Last night I ordered Barbecue Spare Ribs, Hot Salted Chili Chips and Chicken Beef Curry, all of which was delicious (forgive the poor lighting in the photos)

Usually great and never complain but had one Friday and I’ve got the worst food poisoning of my life , throwing up constantly as well as never away from the toilet . Hot and cold shivers night sweats etc . Genuinely think if an elderly person ate what I did they would no longer be here . Unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again

for the first time last night called, shortly before closing the supplier had gone to home, but that was not a problem that brought it to her herself to blaydon was pierced hot very nice dame she was, eating was amazing best Chinese I ever had restaurant quality the chili chips were nice we got a house special chowmy it was massive charge meat about 6 king prawns and free crackers. this will be our new local Chinese takeout

on Friday evening we visited her after we went to a local pub and takeaway, both of whom were not willing to serve as servier feed for my sister, who is intolerant of ice and milk. you prepared the extra mile and a meal that was safe for my sister. Many thanks to that they offer excellent service and our believe in the takeaway industry. no wonder that my sister is disturbed that she is served suitable food and not very relaxed about eating that she has not prepared. the dame on the theke was extremely helpful. thank you for having restored my belief in the moving industry. we continue from ryton to use sun wah.
