"It had just started to rain so we popped in for a latte, but ended up having a spot of lunch. We should've just stopped at the latte, because if we had I would have given them 4 stars. The latte we ordered was served quickly, was quite large and had a nice flavour about it. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the food. The chap serving us almost dropped our plates on the table, and shot off. No words, not even a cheery smile. I had a breakfast and the food was evidently on the cheaper side, the fried egg was quite small, and it appeared that the meat content of the sausage looked a tad iffy. My breakfast was 1 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 egg and some beans for £5. I guess I expected better quality for 5 items. The cafe tables are well spread out, and it seemed clean. Will we be going back? No!"

We had a great meal at this restaurant. My husband opted for a large breakfast with chips instead of bubble and black pudding, while I had a burger and chips. The food was fresh, delicious, and served piping hot. We highly recommend this place.

Today, we visited a very nice and clean restaurant with a large menu and friendly staff. The meals were substantial and served hot. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely be returning soon, despite the lack of a car park.

Whilst shopping in Spalding decided I fancied some lunch. The burger was simple but tasty and the decaf tea served in a large cup and saucer, was very good. I didn't wait long for the food and the cafe seemed clean and tidy. There is outdoor seating but that depends on the weather. Staff not really that friendly but efficient I'd say. Good value for money and would visit again for both food and drinks

My party of four visited this restaurant and experienced a disappointing meal service. Our orders arrived at different times, with one dish arriving early, followed by another three minutes later, and then another shortly after. It took a total of 10 minutes for the final dish to arrive. I would advise against dining here if you prefer all your food to arrive together. Additionally, the staff was not very friendly.

"We've been here a couple of times before and it's been great, however our latest visit was not a great experience. Portions were small, presentation wasn't anything special, looked like meals I could of in nocked up myself as a quick tea at home, nothing special at all, certainly didn't look like a restaurant dining experience. Also, never come across a restaurant that stipulates on the menu if you want steak they need 48 hours notice! And even if they do, they should tell people when they book in as we had 2 of our party very disappointed on the night. The whole dining experience was also ruined by a group of loud, drunk locals sitting in the dining area and talking and swearing at the top of their voices so we couldn't even hear ourselves having a conversation. If people have paid for a dining experience no matter how bad that was, they should not have to put up with a table full of loud, swearing locals who were just there for the drink, keep the two things separate! Really dark and dingy in the restaurant, we struggled to read the menu due to how badly lit it was. The waitress started the evening by telling us what wasn't available off the menu, which in itself seemed odd at the beginning of the weekend to of already run out of so much. Needless to say this one bad experience overshadows previous good ones, it looks like the place has gone down hill, we won't be back! Must say though this is by no means a reflection of the staff they were lovely, it's on the owners!"
