"Moriki was booked out for lunch so we chose this little restaurant souterrain in chique Westend of Frankfurt. My friend and I met there for 12.30 on a Friday and I luckily grabbed the last table without reservation shortly before that hour. So full because it is value for money, something not so common in the area of the city.European and Asian guests, each table that became available while we ate was quickly occupied again. The lunch menues are abundant, come fast with efficient service and include a salad, soup, main course and soft drink for anything between EUR 11 to 30. I enjoyed a salad, miso soup and bowl of rice topped with delicious eel, my friend found some bines in her chicken she found hard to deal with with chopsticks, but a knife and fork were promptly brought to help. The only draw back is its noisy when so full. Don't wait to pay at your desk: nobody tells you or pays attention, but you pay at the bar before leaving. No idea how they control who pays what though."

The standard of this Japanese restaurant is above most of those in Singapore. Friendly staff, worth visiting if you are looking for Japanese food.

good food. not my favorite scenery, but ok. moriwase was really fresh, good cuts (mine had six different types of seafood) and filling. the gunkan was tasty, but fell apart. none of this was enough to lose a star for the delivery of sushi in Germany.

a little remote, from the measurable in about 10 minutes to reach. comfortably furnished, friendly welcome (but this has been so far with almost all francfurter sushi restaurants). seems to be well visited at midday. the foods were okay. nothing special that differs from other standard suhi localities in ffm. a total of three stars.

Small restaurant near Westendplatz. I would not go for dinner but for lunch it was a nice choice. I enjoyed the lunch menu with salad, udon noodle soup and a mixed Sushi plate (some nigiri, maki and "inside out)". Prices were reasonable which also explains why 2/3 maki were vegetarian and the inside out rolls had canned tuna. All in all pleasant, efficient service and value for money.

On a short walk after breakfast, we discovered Sushi am Maim Westend: Feuerbachstrabe, and thought that it might be a good choice following a day of exploring the city. We definitely weren't disappointed. Prices were comparable with our favourite Japanese restaurant at home, Asa Don in King Street, Newcastle. We enjoyed the Gyozas followed by Chicken Terriyaki with Rice and Tempura Vegetables. Drinks prices were competitive with nearby restaurants - 3.8 euros for an Asahi beer, and the same for a glass of decent Chardonnay. The complimentary sea algae appetiser and dessert were lovely touches. Service was attentive with requests to share meals readily met with separate plates. Although main...
